In the LXX it says, "18 And Jared lived an hundred and sixty and two years, and begot Enoch: 19 and Jared lived after his begetting Enoch, eight hundred years, and he begot sons and daughters. 20 And all the days of Jared were nine hundred and sixty and two years, and he died. 21 And Enoch lived an hundred and sixty and five years, and begat Mathusala. 22 And Enoch was well-pleasing to God after his begetting Mathusala, two hundred years, and he begot sons and daughters. 23 And all the days of Enoch were three hundred and sixty and five years. 24 And Enoch was well-pleasing to God, and was not found, because God translated him"- Genisis 5: 18- 24, from Lxx on: http://www.ecmarsh.com/lxx/Genesis/index.htm...

In the second book of enoch it says that Enoch was transformed into the archangel Metron, which could explain the "translation", or better yet " transformation"...

In the Holy Bible, the prophet Elijah was also taken into Heaven alive.....although they are not actually in Heaven (flesh and blood cannot enter into the kingdom of Heaven, according to scripture), they are standing on the very threshold of it as mere mortal beings.....kinda boggles the human mind that two men that were taken from the earth thousands of years are still alive and haven't aged one bit.....this is where the Two Witnesses as described in Revelation 11:4-12 come in during the future Tribulation Period of earth.....it's Elijah and Enoch come back to earth as the mere mortal prophets from which they left long ago.....they are given power by God to prophesy and perform miracles and, to complete the design of humanity that God created, they officially become "dead humans" when they are killed by haters.....after three days, they are resurrected and are taken away into a cloud, much like the Messiah.....and this time, they are given full access into Heaven in their glorified bodies.....Enoch is still very much alive, but will be coming back to earth on a mission to complete prophecy, just like the Messiah did.....straight up sentiments, and blessings to you.....

Hebrews 11:5 By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, "and was not found, because God had taken him"; for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

Translation belongs to “the powers of the Priesthood and the keys thereof” and that it is one of the “many things … that have been kept hid from before the foundation of the world; they are hid from the wise and prudent to be revealed in the last times” Translated beings are not taken into the presence of God. “Their place of habitation is that of the terrestrial order, and a place prepared for such characters He [God] held in reserve to be ministering angels unto many planets, and who as yet have not entered into so great a fullness as those who are resurrected from the dead.” The Prophet continued: “Translation obtains deliverance from the tortures and sufferings of the body, but their existence will prolong as to the labors and toils of the ministry, before they can enter into so great a rest and glory”

The same thing happened to John. Christ told John he would tarry until he comes again. It's in the Bible.

If you believe in the bible Enoch is still very much alive. He was taken body and soul by god.
