Everyone has their different views on what a virgin would be...what do you think?

A girl who has not had a physical, emotional or sexual relationship. But more importantly has NOT been touched or penetrated in a sexual manner.

I've heard the original meaning was a young maiden untill the word evolved to mean a woman chaste and never before deflowered . Does it matter with modern medicine I'd check for the important things like disease and forget the rest if necessary.

technically/medically someone who has not had intercourse... but a lot of teens have oral sex (and are starting at age 12 & 13-- eeks!!!) because they think they won't get pregnant/cant get STDs or think it keeps them a virgin & IMO they're still slutty if they sleep around in the manner of giving BJs to everyone they meet.
I had a college roommate who did that... said she "didn't have sex" with a guy, but had oral sex... doesn't that count?
oh, and virgins aren't just girls... most people here are referring to women (I did too... sorry). men are virgins too until they have had sex.

Why is this in the R&S section? Maybe you're referring to the Christian idea that the Messiah is supposed to be a virgin sacrifice, as Jesus was in their theology?

Usually it is used in the context of sexual relations.
Someone who hasn't had sex. Modern day society.
Some cultures say if a women has a hymen she is a virgin.
So if it is broken accidentally she becomes useless as a wife.
Because she is no longer a virgin.

One who's Hymen has never been broken. Virginity is obsolete, the hymen is evolutionary baggage like the tonsils and appendix.
