Are there more women or more men the the us and the world population? this has been an ongoing debate amoung me and my BF so i was just wondering does anybody really know??

women usually acount for about 50.5 of any population; sometimes specific local factors will alter that.

Last time I saw statiistics on it, there were 51% female, 49% male - but that may not be the most recent US survery info. Try http://www.census.org for the 2000 info - the most recent census.
