"Muslims worship a different God.

Allah is simply the Arabic word for God. Allah for Muslims is the greatest and most inclusive of the Names of God, it is an Arabic word of rich meaning, denoting the one and only God and ascribing no partners to Him. It is exactly the same word which the Jews, in Hebrew, use for God (eloh), the word which Jesus Christ used in Aramaic when he prayed to God. God has an identical name in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam; Allah is the same God worshiped by Muslims, Christians and Jews. Muslims believe that Allah's sovereignty is to be acknowledged in worship and in the pledge to obey His teaching and commandments, conveyed through His messengers and prophets who were sent at various times and in many places throughout history. However, it should be noted that God in Islam is One and Only.

I feel like I am going crazy, I am dreaming of the book of revelations coming true and I can't get it off of my mind! I am scarred. I try to tell myself the Christianity isn't true so that I can live my life without fear.

Now the Gov is saying they are giving us the chip in 2009

What should I do, I feel like I am being haunted. Why would God be so mean to us?

And please don't say that the "true" Christians will be gone to heaven before this happens because there is no biblical proof to this.

There are some religions that believe in one God. If these religions believe in the same God, why are there different religions that believe in only one God. Also why do these different religions that believe in one God sometimes have conflicting messages or different rituals.

So I was watching the Catholic channel and so some guy in a robe swinging some object and then some nun's started to chant a mantra. Then I turned to it an hour late and saw some more guys in some more fancy outfits doing rite of passage.

Then I flipped to the evangelical channel and saw a preacher talking about the importance of marrage and healthy relationships between men and women and looked at what Christ taught about it and I could easily get something out of that.

Everytime Ive attended a Catholic mass with a friend or watch the Catholic channel it just seemed to stiff and ceremonial. Do any Catholics get spiritual fullfillment out of that religion or is it just about tradition and culture.

"Vengeance is mine, ... saith the Lord. Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink; for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head."

Definition of Vengeance according to Merriam-Webster dictionary:
1: with great force or vehemence
2 : to an extreme or excessive degree

This leads me to believe that the bible is not speaking of "revenge" belonging to the Lord. God was speaking of vengeance being the first punishment. If we accept this as a given, that should make many understandings of the verse moot. According to this line of thought, revenge is perfectly fine to carry out.
There is a law in the bible at Ex 21:23-25 stating:
23 And if any mischief follow, then thou shalt give life for life,
24 Eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot,
25 Burning for burning, wound for wound, stripe for stripe.
That would seem to support this.

So, with that said, is revenge left to man, while God hands out initial punishments?

"MISCONCEPTION #2:
Islam oppresses women.

The image of the typical Muslim woman wearing the veil and forced tostay home and forbidden to drive is all too common in most peoples thoughts. Although some Muslim countries may have laws that oppress women, this should not be seen as coming from Islam. Many of these countries do not rule by any kind of Shari'ah (Islamic law) and introduce their own cultural standpoints on the issue of gender equity.

Islam on the other hand gives men and women different roles and equity between the two is laid down in the Quran and the example of the Prophet (peace be upon him). Islam sees a woman, whether single or married, as an individual in her own right, with the right to own and dispose of her property and earnings. A marriage gift is given by the groom to the bride for her own personal use, and she keeps her own family name rather than taking her husband's.

I want to know the book that has a description of what Jesus looked like. Did it blatantly say he was white or black. Are readers assuming he was black or white. Also isn't it blasphemy to portray a picture of what Jesus looks like if he is the son of God. If my question is ignorant I'm sorry, I'm just trying to figure out something and I'm not your going to church every Sunday individual.

A Nebraska meat packing plant is in turmoil over Muslim workers demanding time off during their shift to pray. They say their religion dictates they must pray each day, during a 45 minute break at sundown. Some apparently walked off the production line without permission and were fired. Others quit in protest.
The plant manufacturer says he has many Muslim employees, and if they all take off at the same time to pray the line would have to be shut down. He says the only people who were fired were ones who walked off the line without permission and that no one was fired for praying.

In the US, employers must make reasonable accomodation for religious beliefs. That does not mean shutting down production. This is an example of the medieval muslim mind. Most Christians and Jews long ago gave up strict teachings about the sabbath to accomodate modernity. It's time muslims did the same. What do you think?

"Many theists argue that people “choose” to be atheists and, hence, will be held accountable for such a (sinful) choice. But is atheism chosen? No: belief is not an action and cannot be attained by command. Once a person realizes what they must believe beyond all doubt, what other steps do they take in order to have that belief? None, it seems — there is nothing left to do. Thus, there is no extra, identifiable step which we can label the act of “choosing.” "

I used to be saved. Doesn't seem like it now. I haven't been able to pray for a long time. I asked God, if he helped me to pray I would pray every day. God came through, but I wasn't able keep it up for long. Ill be going to hell for that. I have sexual problems. I have probably caused problems convincing my finance to do things we shouldn't. Don't seem to pay attention in church. I don't really learn or remember much.

In general, with the anger and problems I have I just do not see a saved life in me.

I suppose it wouldn't be a righteous thing for me to blame my life on the fact that about a year ago I moved in with a friend from school, Bi and worldly, but i'm starting to think it would have been better for my soul if I had chosen to move into the back of my truck rather than in with him.
