Why is there the common misconception that only Muslim women have been given laws regarding clothing? In Islam, Everything is made equal. We are not opressed not burdened. In fact we are enlightened and happy. The only reason many folks are understandably only shown images of women is because we are being compared to western women. People believe that we should be able to dress like them. They don't know that our restrictions on clothing apply to men as well. But since western men are not put under the microscope of designated beauty, people think that Islam lets Muslim brothers do as they wish. Many often forget in their discussion of clothing within the guidelines of Islam, to speak of the issue of Islamic Dress for Men. While the dress code of women is often the discussion of newspaper articles and magazine stories and academic writings, you hardly ever will see a word written about the issue of Islamic dress of Men.

God's will? How can it be known?

I don't understand the concept when my best friend (a baptist minister) talks about it. A voice from the clouds doesn't come booming out or anything. How is God's will determined without direct contact??

What if you dont believe in any religon, but do believe in God?

What would you call yourself? I think religion is whats caused many problems in my life, but i do however believe in one God. What do i tell people when they ask me about my faith? They usually just assume i'm atheist.

Does anyone else pray to God to bless Everyone-everywhere in their nightly prayer?

I do this and have my children do this as well-just think of how much that one prayer has now meant, just by asking God to Bless everyone! I have the faith to know that it is done as I have asked-with God's will,that is...Try it- it really works!

How can you have faith in a god that can't control creation? How can he lead you to salvation ? when there is only chaos.

For radicals in Muslim, the dichotomy between “freedom” and “oppression” is based on whether sharia law is made supreme in the world; that is, — both Muslim and non-Muslim — lives under the mandates of Islamic law. If they do, they are considered “free”; if not, as the case is today, the mass of humanity is considered “oppressed.”

So therefore, Muslims consider themselves "oppressed" in western cultures. Is that true?

Is the concept of Trinity amongst the Christians supported by the writings in the BIBLE itself??...?

According to the Athanasian Creed: "The Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Ghost is God, and yet there are not three Gods but one God."
In this Holy Trinity: "The three Persons are CO-EQUAL and CO-ETERNAL: all alike are UNCREATED and OMNIPOTENT." (The Catholic Encyclopedia)
Thus the Trinity is considered to be: (One God in three Persons."
There is only one verse in the whole of Holy Scripture called the Bible which unequivocally supports this Christian dogma:
"For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost; and these three are one. " The first Epistle of John 5:7
Dr C.I, Scofield, D.D. backed by eight other D.D.'s in a footnote to this verse opine:
"IT IS GENERALLY AGREED THAT THIS VERSE HAS NO MANUSCRIPT AUTHORITY AND HAS BEEN INSERTED."

A girl at my school is Wicca?!?

I don't really know much about it, but she is kind of scary. I don't have any religion or anything against her.

If you want to learn about farming you go to a farmer, why not talk to a Muslim to learn about Islam?
