...or does experience create judgment?

(soul speaking)

I'm hoping my earlier question inspired all who believe in an all-powerful God, especially if you know an amputee, to pray for a new leg.

What? No, I'm not talking about prosthetic legs. I'm talking about real legs, and about a God who said he could do anything.

If he can do anything, what's stopping him from giving somebody a new leg?

This is an old question, and all you church folks are getting sick hearing about it. Yeah well I'm sick of hearing about your religion.

Wife gets upset because I have a bad aim while standing and using the bathroom. She feels I should wipe up after myself. I tell her its her job. I support her, provide her with anything and everything she wants. Her job is to clean the house and take care of me...."PERIOD"

Before Armenians became christian they were pagan. I was wondering if there are any Armenians out there who are still pagan?
Also would love to hear from people who are Pagan who can advise me on some books to read which will explain more about paganism.

I am an open-minded person who likes to learn about all different religions. It helps me to figure out what I believe in. I used to study with Jehovah's Witnesses, but I ran into some serious issues that became obstacles to my being able to accept some of their philosophies. For example, is it true that you don't accept people into your church who smoke? That you kick people out if they don't pay their taxes? Is it true that you believe that women should be subservient to men? A few years ago some witnesses came to my door during a time when there had just been a majorly destructive hurricane in our country. I asked them if they were here to collect donations for the victims of the hurricane. They said no, that their church had already sent aid to their brothers and sisters. I asked them to clarify: did they mean that they sent aid ONLY to those who were Jehovah's Witnesses? And they said yes. Does "love thy neighbor" mean only love those who are of your faith?

Do you thnk all those you care about- your spouse, children, grandchildren, etc. will also be saved?
Or wouldn't it matter because you would forget that they had ever existed?

I was wondering if you could expand on some things I've been told about your religion. For example, I've heard that you believe that women should be subservient to men. And that a woman's place is at home, and that she should be raising as many kids as she is biologically capable of having. I've also heard that marriage doesn't mean "monogamy." And, I know a Mormon who has stockpiled food, supplies AND weapons in his backyard for what he believes he will need because we are living in what he calls "the last days." I asked him what the weapons were for, and he said it was so he could "defend" his food supply. He said it's what Mormons believe they have been commanded by God to do. He said he would shoot anyone who tried to take his family's food. Is "kill thy neighbor" one of the Ten Commandments? I'm just curious as to what your ideas are about these concepts. Are they for real? I'd love to hear your insight.

Anyone ever pondered that Jesus tipped a few people to pretend their blind so that when he spat in his hands and rubbed it over their eyes they said they could see (but they could anyway before)

Could there be a possibility that people faked being ill (as he might have tipped them some silver to be) and when he touched them 'magically' they were healed

Since the new testament was written by disciples anyone consider they were liars? How can any man recall the exact words Jesus said years after he went to heaven. Pulleeezz.

I am a Christian im just interrogating

... so sensitive about their sexuality? I mean, if someone is really being cruel and bashing, that's one thing. But it seems like we all go on the defensive when any straight person makes a gay joke.
Usually these jokes are either an effort to show acceptance by saying, "Hey, I treat you like I would any of my straight buddies." Or they are attempting to make themselves feel more comfortable in an awkward situation by lightening the mood. So what if they're a little uncomfortable? At least they're trying to be supportive... .... ....
