Is there a difference in biological make-up? Brain Chemistry? Guilt and fear?

What is it?

I can't bring myself to buy into the notion that there is an after life - I find the whole idea really nutty, but, there are those that really buy into it.

Here is you Logical or Rational proof that god exists that you have been crying for.

Romans 1 vs. 18 - 21 says:

The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities - his eternal power and divine nature - have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse. For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.

I'm particularly caught by the temper tantrum in Genesis 6-7.

Wouldn't you say god's parents are being neglectful in not supervising god's use of this toy more closely?

God's Mom: "God!! Take that thing out of the bathtub this instant! You'll wreck it! Now look at what you've done, you've killed almost all the little critters!"

God: "Aw Mom! I was just having fun."

God's Mom: "Now promise me you won't do that again."

God: "Ooooh okay, I promise."

God's Mom: "There's my good Goddly-Woddly."

Noah: "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA aaaaaaaaaaa !!!!!!!!"

God's Mom: "Did you hear something? Oh well, Daddy and I are off for a vacation. Play nice with your toys now."

God: "Yessss Mom."

I have a problem i would appriciate some help with. You see, i'm not a chirstian and wasn't raised in a christian home, however, during the years i've spent with my best friend who's a very faithful chirstian, i've seen changes in her and how she's always so at ease. lately, i've felt more and more that i wanna let the Lord into my life, but my problem is, as much as i want to, i can't seem to believe just quite yet in how he saved the world. Maybe i just need to do my reseach more, or whats the deal here?
Could anyone advice me on a chirstian book becides the bible that i could pick up and read that could maybe help me put things in perspective for me??
Thanks everyone, and wish me luck lol..

If you say: Black people tend to have attitudes, or Asians tend to be strict, is that ignorant or racist? (mind you these are jsut examples of what I hear).

It may be a bit ignorant, but racist-I don’t know. Isn’t it just an observation?

I believe there's too many contradictions in the bible. The bible says that man should work to eat. That implies that unemployment is a sin. So should unemployed men not go to church? I'll probably get reported for this but oh well.
