the second one has to do with spiritual clothes of righteousness..

In Genesis, and the story of the Garden of Eden, "clothing" is symbolic of the mortal body of flesh and bone that we all receive upon our entrance into mortality in this world.
In Revelation, John refers to our “garments” [or clothes] as our works and understanding. These “garments” are the “white robes” given to all those who have the “seal of God in their forehead,” and who “should rest yet for a little season.”
Clothing has always symbolized one’s actions, deeds, and thoughts.
John warns those who have been enlightened by the truth to keep on their “garments,”or they will be “sore” ashamed when “the battle” is finally over.

The first scripture refers to when Adam and Eve had sinned and disobeyed God that they realized they had been nude and they made clothing for themselves out of leaves and God felt pity for them and made garments of skin for them to wear.
The second scripture is a comparison of what we should be doing now, in these days, because like the scripture says, its best to stay awake and with your clothes on because lets say a thief comes in and robs your house, by the time you put your clothes on, he would have already left, its the same these days, Gods day of judgement is coming and we dont want to be caught in the "nude". we want to be ready for anything that might happen.

The clothes God made for Adam and Eve were animal skins - which obviously had been sacrificed for their sake so they could be clothed.
But's God's ultimate sacrifice was Jesus Christ. So, "clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the sinful nature."Ro 13:14

GOD killed some Animals and made Clothes for Adam and Eve.
GOD is Light.
The more of the Holy Spirit you have inside of you, the more LIGHT shines out of you, in the Invisible Spiritual Realm around us.
That was Adam and Eve's Original Clothes--the Light of GOD shone out of them So Much, they couldn't see their own body's.
(watch ufo movies, when the door opens and the lights shine though, you cannot see through all of that light)
When they committed High Treason, GOD had to Leave from Inside of Adam and Eve, and Whooops! the Light went Out and they were Instantly Naked---no clothes, of GOD's Light!!!

Well the first passage would refer to the skins of other animals being used as clothing.
The second I would guess is referring to the Rapture, and how people will be snatched away even while sleeping.
