I'm particularly caught by the temper tantrum in Genesis 6-7.
Wouldn't you say god's parents are being neglectful in not supervising god's use of this toy more closely?
God's Mom: "God!! Take that thing out of the bathtub this instant! You'll wreck it! Now look at what you've done, you've killed almost all the little critters!"
God: "Aw Mom! I was just having fun."
God's Mom: "Now promise me you won't do that again."
God: "Ooooh okay, I promise."
God's Mom: "There's my good Goddly-Woddly."
Noah: "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA aaaaaaaaaaa !!!!!!!!"
God's Mom: "Did you hear something? Oh well, Daddy and I are off for a vacation. Play nice with your toys now."
God: "Yessss Mom."

Haha Orian,
You are very funny here. I can not let this pass bye. As Christians we believe that we are made in the image of God correct. Not only does that mean in body..But in spirit (yes I know ha ha I believe I have a soul. Getting past that issue please)
It is a way for us to realize more than ever. We are more like God then anyone would like to admit. The analogy you have given is very funny. Needless to say This is one of the first times we see God not the "Lord God" in essence expressing emotions that many feel he should not have. This is the first time we see in the written word or as some like to say in this story of that in this passage "Grief" is love’s response.
When we as a people feel bereavement many show different emotions is this not true. Here God is showing signs poor adjustment to his decision. The strength of the powerful emotions (as opposed to feelings) accompanying our grief. Anger, sadness, helplessness, and guilt literally tormented me at times, coming and going so seemingly at will in ones consciousness for a long time.
Those ill-defined, conflicting feelings can leave us quite unsettled, and sometimes we will even catch ourselves crying a little, wishing things could have been better.
You mean to tell me you have never felt this way? hum..Just some food for thought for your next picnic ^^.
As always,
Seek,Learn,Discover,Love,
~hugs~to you

You make fun of my God, I don't know what you believe, but I would not make fun of your beliefs, much less your god. I am quite upset with this kind of behavior, you sound more like a spoiled little child than any child I have seen in a long time. I must ask God to forgive you, I believe you have acted out of ignorance, and there fore you know no better. Please, grow up, and learn to respect other people, treat everyone as you would want to be treated.
God be with you,

It's... ironic, for lack of a better word than I can think of at this time, that some people blame God for not doing anything about evil and then when He does do something about evil, they blame Him for that as well.
But I also wonder how people can judge God on this matter when they don't have all of the relevant facts. Perhaps God might have known something (seeing as He's omniscient) about these people, such as evil they may have committed and/or were planning to commit, or some threat they might have posed to the survivability of the human race that might have justified His wiping them out.

No - the King James Perversion makes it appear as such so that King James the Pedifile looked more righteous than our Loving Heavenly Father.
The Ancient Texts show emphatically that where you find "Wrat", "Vengeance" and the like - IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN TRANSLATED AS "JUDGMENT".
If you knew the plan of Yahweh our Father - you would not even speak such things. If Yahweh did not know what is going to occur in ever detail until the return of his son Yahshua - HOW COULD THE BIBLE CODES SHOW IT IN DETAIL???
Where it speaks by mistranslation - that our Creator was REPENTED that he created mankind ....
It actually should have been written that he was EXCEEDINGLY GLAD to see that the plan was coming to completion ...
Where it speaks that our creator is supposedly going to destroy us ... it should read that he allows what we bring about by our own hand through our disobedience to his loving word - that he allows it to come upon our own selves.
Our Loving Creator already told us how to live and what would be beneficial for us - to keep his law. When you break the law - the curse comes automatically - Yahweh does not throw it on you ... you bring it upon yourselves. Just like cheering for the buttons to be pushed in oppossition to what our creator and the messiah said ... we will all then reap what comes forth from the buttons being pushed ... Our Loving Creator is NOT pushing the buttons or making man do it ... Our Creator said to live in peace and pursue it - but will let man do what he wants to prove to him and allow him to learn a valuable lesson.
What was written in many mistranslations AGAINST OUR LOVING HEAVENLY FATHER - does not make it truth ... you should repent of believing all the lies - your Creator has tried to plead with you to do right for thousands of years and man just keeps going further and further astray ...
Like in Jeremiah 23:26-27 ... mankind even FORGOT YAHWEH'S HOLY NAME - FOR BAAL ... THE LORD of the Cannanite Pantheon ...
Yahweh still allows it to rain on the right and the unjust and feeds the wicked and the upright ... but; only for a few more weeks or months - then the food will be cut off BY OUR OWN DOINGS ... Our sins have reached it's peak ... have reached up to the heavens and there will be no turning back ... the cheers to push the buttons are also rising along with the hatred ...
The whirlwind has already begun ... the outcome is secure ... and Yahweh love all who call upon his name - and those that do not ... he will give an opportunity in the survivors of this time - the 1/5th of mankind will have their eyes opened so that the earth will be rebuilt and in around 1000 years - all flesh that never understood the truth will be raised from the dead and make their choice over the next 100 years after they are ressurrected (in the second ressurection) ...
Satan will be loosed from her chains to be allowed to deceive once again and all will be able to make their own choice ... life or death.
Don't sound like a whinney brat to me ... sounds like a loving Creator that those who hate him have told some nasty things about ... and Yahweh will even give them an opportunity to over come their hatred and live with him forever ... that does not sound like revenge or wrath ... no hatred - but ... more love than we show to our neighbors, eh?
Peace;
Aintmyfault

You should be a writer...
However, God is not a spoiled child, far from it, He is perfect, holy and soveriegn, something we have great difficulty understanding from where we are standing right now.

I don't understand why you would put the living over the dead. God knows what is best, he is unborn, of no parents, the first creation from no creation. If we were a bunch of ignorant people who wouldn't listen to the God who gave us his time, why do you judge him as the dumb one?
