September 19, 1846, at approximately three hours of the afternoon in full sun, on a mountain close to the village to Salette-Fallavaux, two children, a fifteen year old shepherdess called Melanie Calvat, and young shepherd an eleven year old called Maximin Giraud, all the two very ignoramuses, transfer in a resplendent light a "beautiful injury" vêtue of a strange costume. Speaking alternatively French and patois, it charged them of a message which they were "to make known with all its people". After having complained about impiété about the Christians and to have threatened them of terrible punishments if they were to persevere in the evil, it promised divine leniency to them if they were amended.

The children reported that the "Beautiful Injury" was sad and cried, which raises theological problems besides since, in an article of the newspaper the Cross of August 14, 1946, the R.P. Gabel s.j. underlines: "the children saw that the Blessed Virgin had much sorrow; it cried; it poured abundant tears. However a healthy theology teaches us that the saints with the Paradise know a perfect happiness ".

Before disappearing it communicated to each child a special secrecy.

If you wish making such sightings yourself, call newspaper and report made-up one in great detail. Encourage an accomplise to report similar to same newspaper, but with slight differences. Paper will run story, and within days numerous strangers will recount details of the event you made up!

People believe much strangeness.
