I want to be a vampire like soooo bad. I'm not really a daylight person anyway. I enjoy the night. If vampires do exist, I would beg one to turn me.

When my youngest daughter was in school. She came home one afternoon upset to the point of tears. Some of the kids at school were calling her a vampire and making fun of her extremely pointed incisors! She begged us to let her have the dentist file them down so that they wouldn't look pointed anymore. They had grown that way naturally.

So the dentist filed them and since her peers couldn't find anything else to make fun of her about she was able to finish her school year on a happy note and even made a few new friends.

The obsessive desire to become a vampire isn't healthy or normal.

Make believe, dress up, fantasy is one thing. The person is aware that they are pretending. Imagination, creativity and curiosity is a healthy thing.

I hope this is just your way of having fun and that you haven't developed a true obsession. If this isn't just for fun please talk to your parents, if you are not an adult. If you are an adult please seek guidance asap!

In case you are just having fun: Take a mirror out with you when you go someplace like a mall or a shopping center or anyplace. Keep checking the mirror.

If you don't see someones reflection in it, when there should be one. You have probably found yourself a vampire. 'Real' vampires do not have a reflection.

They don't like mirrors and they cover them up whenever they see one because not having a reflection is a dead give away as to who and what they are.

Best wishes!

Well there is this: Porphyria: The Vampire Disease

There exists a fairly rare group of genetic disorders that have unfairly branded many sufferers with the term "vampire". These poor souls are extremely sensitive to sunlight that can easily result in burns and abrasions, and so they prefer darkness. They suffer from acute attacks of abdominal pains, vomiting and loose stools. Their urine may have a purplish-red color leading some to wrongly believe that it results from drinking blood. Those afflicted may have increased hair growth, and with repeated damage, their skin tightens and shrinks. When this occurs around the mouth, the canine teeth appear to be more prominent, and suggestive of fangs. At other times, it causes depression and affects the brain to produce peculiar behavior. It is probably no surprise that garlic makes all the symptoms worse.

Doesn't sound so fun when you put it like that huh? As for real vampires and not just a genetic disorder, no they are not real. Sorry.

Tell me, why do you want to be a vampire so badly? Do you know what you would have to give up if you could become a vampire? Does an eternity of having to drink blood and avoiding sunlight at all costs sound more appealing than a lifetime of being able to go out no matter the time of day to have fun, especially in places that are only open during the day?

It's your choice, of course, but remember: being supernatural isn't all it's cracked up to be.

I watched part of a documentary last week on Discovery channel I believe, where people have their own nightclub who think they are true vampires. Not immortal, however. One guy actually bit and sucked another guy's arm for the blood! Gross! Maybe someone else recalls this and can tell you the name of the program. Did you want the whole scene with blood or just the nightlife? Good luck, but be careful! My daughter finds the tales of vampirism fascinating, too! I am sure there are plenty of websites with info as books, also at Amazon.com.

The whole concept of vampirism is completely ridiculous. The human body cannot ingest more than a pint of blood without becoming violently ill, due to the amount of iron in the hemoglobin. Hemoglobin is the red pigment in a red blood cell that carries iron and oxygen throughout the body.

The human body becomes violently ill when exposed to too much of the iron in blood.

A lot of people like the night time, it doesn't make you a vampire. A lot of people don't like the day, it's too hot, it's bright, and has UV rays - but you're no more a vampire than Count Dracula.

There are many different kinds of vampires. Whether they be psychic vampires, blood drinking vampires, etc.
The dictionary meaning for vampire is this:
Main Entry: vam·pire
Pronunciation: 'vam-"pI(-&)r
Function: noun
Etymology: French, from German Vampir, from Serbian vampir
1 : the reanimated body of a dead person believed to come from the grave at night and suck the blood of persons asleep
2 a : one who lives by preying on others b : a woman who exploits and ruins her lover
3 : VAMPIRE BAT
- vam·pir·ic /vam-'pir-ik/ adjective
- vam·pir·ish /'vam-"pI(-&)r-ish/ adjective
So yes anyone can be a vampire, or even become a vampire.

I believe that they are real, because every myth stems from fact at some point in history.

I think that they are greatly over exaggerated... all a vampire really is is someone who enjoys the taste of blood.

They are not immortal sons of the devil who need blood to survive and can't come out in the sun... and I'm sure they can be killed without the use of a silver stake or a crucifix.

there are people who think they are vampires and they sleep in the day and hang out at night and actually drink blood, but "undead" as in the way the movies portray them, no! They really are taking a chance drinking blood with hepatitis and aids and all that mess out there. I think more than needing a blood fix, they might want to seek out some serious therapy!

You can transform yourself into one. Start with a good orthodontis. Allow him to implant fangs into your gums and you will permanetly have teeth like a vampire.

get yourself some glossy, color contacts of your choice and you are on your way.

Now find some night walkers, and hang out with them at the underground clubs or where ever they hang out. Then you will be on your way to becoming an artificial vampire...

Enjoy your first bite!
