hey guys last night my nanna got rushed to hospital the cause
was pneumonia which then also made the heart attack she had worse. i was up all night last night by her side when they put her in a induced coma. i left when she woke up and she was looking a bit better, happier and a bit relieved that she was ok but they said they wanted to keep an eye on her because they hadn't located the actual cause of the heart
attack. i came home early this morning knowing that she
was awake and that hopefully she would be fine the day
went ok but we went back to check on her tonight at the
hospital make sure she was ok keep her company
i was speaking to her and she looked a little weaker
and she said its my time to go and i told her it wasnt but
she insisted it was :( and that she was tired.
im worried and i believe in god i just dont know how to
pray i was hoping anyone who read this could say a little
prayer for my nanna i would really appreciate your help.

several years ago, I came to this point with my mother, she was in the hospital, when she told me the same thing,
mom called me to her, and said, Son pray for me, I am tired and i want to go home, and I knew that her home was not the house the she lived in, her home was not of this world, but the home she was referring to was the one where she would be with jesus.

it is at this time that we have to make the hardest decision of our lives, do we think about what we want, or what they want, or perhaps what they need.
when we make the right decision then there is a peace that comes with the sense of loss.
I prayed that my Mother would never feel pain again.
and she received total complete healing.
and went home in less than 15 minutes.

Dear brother Dave
I will certainly say a prayer for your nanna and you.
Lord we ask in Jesus' name that your will be done in nanna's life. If she is ready to be called home to you Lord, we ask that you would grant peace and comfort to her family here on earth. You always know best in these times, Lord, and we trust You. Amen.

Dave, often times older persons are comfortable in knowing when life on earth is done. You nanna seems secure in knowing this, and she also knows that you and your family love her and love each other. At this time, that's all that's important in her heart. Bless you Dave. Support your family and know that the Lord has taken care of everything.

In Jesus' name
Amen

rammie :)

Hi Dave!

May God grant your Nanna healing and peace. God clearly loves her to have blessed her with a grandson like you - as he loves you having blessed you with your Nanna.

Your Nanna sounds like someone who does not fear dying, though she may fear how those she loves and leaves behind will cope. It is often harder for those remaining than it is for those who have come to the closing days of a full life. She is surrounded by good expert care and love, which must be a great comfort to her. May she be with you - without suffering - a while longer to help you prepare for allowing her to move on when her time comes - as it must for all of us. May you find meaning and comfort now and always too.

Dave, don't be afraid whatever happens. No-one is forgotten and nothing is lost in eternity. My own beloved Nanna died many years ago when I was young. She was the first person close to me to die. It hurt like heck then - but I am so glad to have known her. When I cook for my own family now, my memories of being around Nanna in her own kitchen are always close. The love and wisdom she invested in me are perhaps more powerful now than they were when she was alive, as I've understood them more as I myself have grown. Now I enjoy the time with my own grandchildren, but do soemtimes wonder how to prepare them for the time when I too will cross the border between the worlds.

God bless and be with you now and always and please be assured that I for one will be praying for you and Nanna.

Good wishes.

I will be praying. All you have to do is speak to God in your heart, and talk to him, just as you did here.
