So whats your point? Do you think that just because you ask this same type of question 1000 times your going to convince someone that God is non powerful? Your only making all the good atheists look bad and not to mention ignorant. You see most of us dont need some amazing growing of the leg to believe. Though it does happen I have seen it. But im sure you wont believe that so I wont waste my time convincing you. And if your so tired of hearing about peoples religion then why are you on Yahoos Religion and Spirituality section? You just want to argue and try and convince someone to subscribe to your brand of unbelief. Apparently you are searching for something. Even Madeline Murray O'Hares (a renowned atheist) son became Christian despite all the things his mother had put in his mind. It just goes to show that God can change a persons heart and when this happens ALL things are possible. However I suspect your bitter over someone you know losing a leg or perhaps yourself then again you could just be wanting to cause discord. I even have a grandfather with an amputated leg and God has healed him of diabetes, heart disease, and a bleeding disorder. Neither I nor my grandfather need to see his leg grow back to believe. In this world you deal with the consequences of not taking care of your body. Thats just the way it is. Oh and just for clarification im not religious. I am non denominational.

Why are you not getting new legs, you just said it, you are sick of all Christians, & you don't believe God can do it. Friend, I have a very servere bad spine that can crumble anytime from a Hunting acident. You don't see me crying, God give me a new spine, Do you know why. Because one day this old body will change & there will not be one defect or pain in my new Body. Stop feeling sorry for yourself, & live a life, A relative of my only 20 yrs . old & Just got married Lost her left leg on a motorcycle, & she is taking it very well. Yes, It was taken off just above the knee during the accident, Not after & not at the Hospital. Now to reverse you own thought on your self, I can say, I am sick of all you so call people getting on here trying to get something from God when you don't even beleive in God.

That's a good question.I actually saw the other day something about a gay man who no longer wanted to be gay so he went to church he had aids. The minister said come to church and your sins will be forgiven. When he went to church and said he has changed apparently his aids mysteriously vanished. What a crock that is.

If you're tired of hearing about our religion, feel free to leave. No one's making you stay here.
Besides, has it EVER occurred to you that amputees don't NEED new limbs? They are still just as whole as they were before they lost their arm or leg or whatever. Not only that, but God rarely gives people what they WANT. He does, however, provide for what we NEED. Yes, God COULD make an amputee grow back their limb, sure. But He doesn't, because amputees can survive without them.
And because of amputees, our research into prosthetics has taken off! Two hundred years ago, a man was lucky if he could get a wooden peg to replace his limb. Look at what's possible now! I have a friend who was born without a left hand. Her arm just ends at the wrist. Once she has the money, she could easily get a prosthetic limb. That is COOL.
When it comes to what we want, we just have to do for ourselves.

Sante,
To become a saint you must be a CHristian. If you are almost a Christian then you have not yet completed the requirements. Maybe you just need to study a little more. Take time off of work and YA so that you have the time to do so. It will pay off in the end. satan has the time to attack someone else and you can be a CHILD of GOD, the FATHER. What a wonderful thought!! I will pray that you find the truth in HIS WORD. Have a nice day. I will see you at Church.
Thanks,
Eds (Disabled and Christian)

I'm disappointed - I woulda thought you'd get at least one amputee admitting he got a new leg cos he prayed really, really, really hard.
I guess that Xian Invisible Sky Guy isn't so powerful after all, huh? Maybe he just hates amputees.

Then why ask such a dumb question if you don't 'want to hear' my religion? sounds like you are BEGGING to hear it.
There have been undocumented cases of people growing new limbs, also new organs.
There are also DOCUMENTED cases by the THOUSANDS of people who have had cancer remission, 'incurable' diseases healed, among thousands of other maladies that your 'God' of science couldn't cure.
There are very few doctors who wouldn't chock things up to a 'miracle' concerning cases where they thought their patient was a goner, but gets up and walks out of the hospital.
Sometimes it takes getting a limb whacked off to humble us a little so we can see 'the light'. I know of a few Christian giants who didn't become Christians until they were put in a wheelchair, and they thank God for it. One man in Vietnam was horribly burned with 'willy P' (White Phosphorous), and left in the dead pile until they saw him moving around. He is a preacher now, with no ears, no nose, and no lips.
Does missing a limb make you any less human? Kids who are born without limbs learn to live fine without them. they wonder why people look at them weird.
Are they less human?

First of all God doesn't always heal you physically, but he does promise to take you through the pain. I lived with pain for many years and wonder why God would not heal me. God was teaching me to rely on Him for comfort and strength. God will take you through life storms but does not necessarily remove the rain. He will however shelter you by comforting you and give you peace and hope and joy of each new day.
