Realizing that my mother was incapable of loving me but learning to have a peaceful relationship with her anyhow.
Marrying the wrong person the first time around, however, still being able to communicate with him.
Being a step-mom to a 15-year-old boy.
Leaving Catholicism to practice Buddhism.
Marrying an atheist who is 15 years my senior and making it work.
Realizing that marriage is a lot of work and not just running happily through the fields all the time. It ebbs and flows as we ebb and flow.
Discovering my yoga practice and that it is more than a physical practice
I could go on and on but that would be a bit boring (I don't think so but others might)
Blessings and Namaste

Wow!!! You should go work with MSNBC. They're experts about not reporting real issues. Like Obama worked with, hired, promotes and takes money from known criminals. But that's not as important as Palin skipping a history class.

5. making peace with the unknowable
The world is like a huge bridge, cross it, but do not build your home on it, one who has hope for just one meaningful moment in life shall have hope for eternity, world exists for just that one moment, if you find it, spend it nobly and with the infinite in your heart, the rest is unknowable...
