Anyone ever pondered that Jesus tipped a few people to pretend their blind so that when he spat in his hands and rubbed it over their eyes they said they could see (but they could anyway before)

Could there be a possibility that people faked being ill (as he might have tipped them some silver to be) and when he touched them 'magically' they were healed

Since the new testament was written by disciples anyone consider they were liars? How can any man recall the exact words Jesus said years after he went to heaven. Pulleeezz.

If you are a "Christian", you fall into the catoagory of a "doubter" or , at least show a tendency to "lean" in that direction, which may make you a skeptic, a heretic or a "born again atheist" and one whom your Christian bretheren will not take any too kindly to.

"Hysterical cures" are quite common among "faith healers". This is where and when one becomes so excited at the prospect of being cured that he/she, for a brief period of time, appears to have been healed.
This same phenomena can be and has been re-created with the use of hypnosis.

Tthe New Testament is not and should not be taken as a historical documnet in the manner in which historical writtings are considered today. The maintaining of a record of exact time, place, circumstances and follow up was not the purpose of the writers.
The New Testament writers were attempting to convey the message of their faith which they saw as a completeion of the prophecieis of the Torah, Psalms, and prophetic writings of the Jews especially in regard to the idea of a Messiah coming to liberate Israel from oppression,
For the Messiah to fulfill the prophecies, he would have necessarily had to perform certain works to demonstrate that YHWH was working through him.
What the New Testament writters did was take it one step further that the Jews, creating the Messiah as the "Son of God", which would have been blaspheme to the Jews (and for which the person of Yoshua bar Yoseph was supposedly condemned to death by the them).

As to the supposed miracels, remember, there was little or no follow up of those healed to see if any relapsed into their illness. There was no psychological screening or accountable medical exam to have first determined if they were actually ill and no such exams to see if they had actually been "miraculously" healed.

Considering that the books of the New Testament were not written until 70 or more years after the death of the Yoshua bar Yoseph, when most , if not all of the original apostles and followers had died and that they were written in Greek (and not Aramaic or Hebrew), it is doubtful that the stories of "Jesus" and anything which he might have said are literal and exact quotations.

To be kind, it is doubtful that those who wrote the New Testament were "liars". They, in all probability, truly believed in what they were doing and what they had been told, just as many believers do to this very day. Unfortunately, that does not make the same accurate, reliable nor true. It simply makes it believed by some.

Yes, many persons find it unbelievable. Many such person are atheist. Such persons have been pointing out the inaccuracies and errors in what is commonly referred to as the Old Testament, the New Testament and Holy Qur'an for many years as well as using science, with its verifiable and reliable evidence to refute and discredit the same.

May it all be well with you.

money isn't completely important to the church, because of the fact in case you have been to inspect further, you may rapidly detect the place the money from church tithing became invested in: taxes, expenditures, charity, ministry, donation, the destructive, the oppressed, the suffering society it is now our very own in this low fee melancholy. little or no is going to the religious leaders, in simple terms adequate so as that they might nevertheless stay like something individuals- very relatively and wholesome. i'm a Christian, and somebody that needs to grow to be a pastor, and that i assure you that i'm not materialistic in any way. If I had the alternative and the flexibility, i might stay without money altogether. Jesus instantaneous his followers to pay their pastor's and leaders for delivering a message of superb information. it isn't any diverse than sending a telegram or an e-card by a company, because of the fact what people pay facilitates them guard that company. So no, it is not a conspiracy. honestly, Jesus became against materialistic benefit and dwelling, because of the fact he mentioned which you will not carry your worldly treasures into heaven. And time and time returned, did he have people sell their possessions for a greater valuable life and that's what relatively occurs in the church- a greater valuable dwelling.

I doubt that because back then the sick people were well known especially the blind, they often had to beg for a living and people who passed these beggars on a daily basis would have known them.

Whether he did those things or not is a matter of faith as there is no historical proof he did or did not. If memory serves me the famous Jewish historian Josephus recorded the death of Jesus, but forget whether or not he recorded any of the miracles.

It Takes the Holy Spirit to make The Word of GOD (Jesus, HE is in the Bible) REAL to a Person.
Without the Holy Spirit, The Bible is Just Another Book.

Only the evil one deceives, not one who is from God. I am also born a christian and have had doubts like these, but lately I was filled by the Holy Spirit just as Jesus had said, after I asked God to help me out of my sins and came out of sins. I was surprised that really God is there. It is wonderful to know about our Creator and Jesus. He is real.
I have written how Jesus changed my life,

It is not the content of scriptures that is the problem... it is the way they are interpreted. In many cases things are literally turned upside-down.
