Anyone else feel like this? Christian music bores me. I listen to hard rock like KsE, system of a down, and static-x. Any other christians out there who do not like christian music?

No, I'm with you. Christian rock is like watered down Billy Joel with Sunday School lyrics attached. It's about as deep as a contact lens and really doesn't scratch any surfaces other than... "hey I'm Christian and I can play music!"
I prefer U2. I think U2 is more of a Christian band than all the others put together because they are not afraid to speak of the dark moments... the times where it literally seems like God has shut off the light and you're in the dark. Most Christian musicians just want to blow smoke at God and they're afraid that an honest lyric would be deemed blasphemous or disrespectful. U2 doesn't have that boundary because they are a rock band made up of Christians, not a Christian rock band. The difference is they are honest about their faith... even lack thereof.

I used to be a hard rock drummer. Played a lot of music like Aerosmith, Ozzy, Van Halen. I couldn't stand the modern Christian rock (even Stryper) and the old hymns were boring.
But (I know you are gonna hate the answer) give it time. Now I only play for praise worship bands, adding my percussive talents to the modern Christian tunes.
It had more to do with maturing as a Christian than it did with a change in music preference. I still love kickin' beats but now its all for the Lord.

Well, I'm learning to like Christian music, you should give i a try, its been very good to me (a while a go i too couldn't stand it), Its still not my favorite though.
I'm often looking for some good rock Christian band, but I'm coming to the conclusion that I'll have to learn to play an instrument an start one.
In the meantime i don't think there is nothing wrong with system of a down and hard rock, just don't overdo it

I like very little of it. I do tenmd to listen to secular rock, celtic music, Ella Fitsgerald, etc. A bunch of different music. But not too much on the Christian music.

I don't like much of what passes for "popular" or CCM Christian music. Most of it is an insult to both Christianity and good music.
You should try listening to some of the Christian music from the 17th and 18th centuries. You may find it a bit more to your liking.

I don't tend to like certian christian music either and i'm a christian as well. I like listening to MCR, TBS, hawthorne hieghts, iron maiden, and stuff like that. There are christian bands out there that have that hard rock sound and aren't just about praising or signing about god. Like underoath, the wedding, and falling up. I really like these bands and I have a hard time as well finding enjoyable christian music.

Instead of listening to hard rock why don't you try Christian rock music. Listening to hard rock is satanic. Jars of Clay, Mercy Me, etc. There are others but can't think of all of them.
