NO ONE can fully understand let alone explain the trinity or triune God, but it's a little like light has 3 properties but we still only talk about ONE light, THE light.
If you think God THE FATHER is separate in any meaningful way from Jesus THE SON or THE HOLY spirit then I would ask you this: Who has the power? I mean, we are told in one sense that God (the father) is almighty (omnipotent) and is all knowing (omniscient). THEN in another sense we are told that Jesus is God made man; i.e., Jesus had all the power of God, all the righteousness, Holiness, etc., but in a human form. And we can think of the Holy spirit as a Godly presence or God in an invisible form. IF these "three" Gods all had equal power as "a god" each then none of them could be God! If God the father is all powerful then Jesus the Son CAN'T be all powerful without that power encroaching on the father's power. The same goes for the Holy spirit.
It is obviously very complex, but a couple things are clear to me. The trinity is united in its strength; i.e., they are collectively what makes up the trinity and together they are all powerful. Jesus and the Holy spirit are parts of God, part of His essence, if you will? They coexist the only way they can coexist, which is peacefully.

God is zero.
Nobody can prove any gods, much less a specific god, exist; many people will tell you their god exists but no others, but will never be able to prove it, even if they think so. Some will threaten you with eternal pain or promise eternal joy to get you to believe in their god; these are all stories, created for people who were scared long before we understood the universe. Now we have no more reason for these superstitions.
