I am 14 turning 15 in April. I have been a Star Scout for 1 month. I have 5 Eagle Required Badges, and 6 Electives. I serve as an instructor. I have already completed my six hour service for another scouts Eagle Scout Project. Do you guys think I can be an Eagle Scout? (I want to get Life Scout my December, it'll be really tight because that's the last month I serve as an instructor)

It has been proposed that on AUGUST 11th, SATURDAY of 2007, from 19:53 PM. to 20:00 PM. in the Central Time Zone for USA, Canada and Mexico (GMT - 6 or UTC - 6), everyone that reads this is encouraged to turn off their lights and hungry-power home-appliances like fridges, air conditioners, dishwashers, computers and TV's (turn off the freakin' Reality Show, for Christ sake!) and give our beloved planet a well-deserved break. Just seven minutes, turn everything off, and expect the response.
Be aware of the major problems of the planet; we caused them and we live in it, so it's not just Greenpeace again. Greenhouse effect, Ozone layer holes, global warming... If seven minutes of your time can make a difference, then please rise from the couch and cooperate.
Cover your eyes with adhesive and relax, but more importantly, don't turn on the TV.
The Internet is a powerful tool, let's use it for good and spread the voice by any means possible, and do it yourself too. THX in advance.

We don't blow people up (or ourselves) unless we suffer from mental handicaps prone to violence, and that is very rare. Out of the 478 terrorist attacks in the past six months alone, source: http://www.thereligionofpeace.com/index.html#Attacks

Infidels were to blame for approximately ZERO of the total attacks, carnage and aftermath.

Why is it O.K for someone to openly say that they are against Christianity, but it is not O.K (or at least causes trouble) when someone tries to express Christianity, like disagreeing with homosexuality?

Buddhists believe that human suffering could be overcome by following a particular way of life. The first precept of Buddhism is 'non-harming' (ahimsa): Buddhists reject violence. Buddhism is clearly pacifist in its teaching and there is a heaven, sometimes called Nirvana.

1) What happened to all people who wanted to go to heaven or nirvana before Christianity?

2) Did they go to another non-christian heaven?

3) If a man murdered a buddist pacifist and then prayed for forgiveness how is it that the murderer can go to heaven and the good buddist is locked out of heaven by practicing his good and righteous religion?

I mean sometimes good advice is good advice, no matter who it is coming from. If both people agree that something is right or wrong, is there really anything wrong with telling them they should or should not do something, regardless of the teller's actions?

I can tell someone they shouldn't smoke while I've got a cigarette in my hand, it doesn't make me less right does it? All they can do is turn it around and say I shouldn't smoke, doesn't change the fact that we are both harming ourselves. I think sometimes it's a good idea to tell people stuff like that. Do you think if we humans weren't so caught up with comparing ourselves to others, we wouldn't be so offended when people give us advice like that?

What do you think of this?

"MISCONCEPTION #1:
Muslims are violent, terrorists and/or extremists.

This is the biggest misconception in Islam, no doubt resulting from the constant stereotyping and bashing the media gives Islam. When a gunman attacks a mosque in the name of Judaism, a Catholic IRA guerrilla sets off a bomb in an urban area, or Serbian Orthodox militiamen rape and kill innocent Muslim civilians, these acts are not used to stereotype an entire faith. Never are these acts attributed to the religion of the perpetrators. Yet how many times have we heard
the words 'Islamic, Muslim fundamentalist. etc.' linked with violence.

Politics in so called "Muslim countries" may or may not have any Islamic basis. Often dictators and politicians will use the name of Islam for their own purposes. One should remember to go to the source of Islam and separate what the true religion of Islam says from what is portrayed in the media.

When I was on a site minding my own business, this pop-up shows up with pictures of nude woman. According to the bible, it says if you look at a woman's body...you would be on the highway to hell. I repented, but I don't know if it could be apologized. I really need help!!!

I believe it’s philosophically impossible to be an atheist, since to be an atheist you must have infinite knowledge in order to know absolutely that there is no God. But to have infinite knowledge, you would have to be God yourself. It’s hard to be God yourself and an atheist at the same time. These are just my thoughts. Would like to know what you think. Please no swearing or name calling. I gave my opnion with NO swearing/name calling so in return I would like the same with your comments.

I have heard Creationists claim that the geologic column does not exist. They claim that the geologic column was mad up to support the theory of evolution. I love it when Creationists are wrong. The first geologic column was devised in 1860 by Adam Sedgewick, Roderick Murchison, and William Coneybeare, all of whom were Creationists who opposed the Theory of Evolution. You Creationists got screwed by your own people. lol. Oh and by the way, the complete geologic column has been found in 25 different places around the world.

I think white people are devils bc they took africans from there homeland then beat them up like they was not a human, make them as slaves. That was wrong. White people trying to say is this there country but sorry it's not. They trying to say they look better then blacks, asians, latina's and other hot ethnic race. I think people should not have white pale skin, They came from space.

Relax. Take a deep breath. Think about what I am asking you. Then answer with nothing but the truth.

Descirption: I'm 25 years old, 97% deaf, physically challenged, weigh less than 100 pounds, smart, intelligent, drives a car, jobless, qualified for SSI, a virgin.

Now, if you were single and I approached you, would you date me?

Before you say yes to avoid from hurting me, take a deep breath again, look into your heart, try to find the true feeling of this question and answer honestly.

Thanks.
