I'm thinking about getting a dog, and I'd appreciate some guidance from the people here who say they know God and what he does and doesn't like. Who wants to have an ungodly dog, right?

Hmm..let's go with German Shepherds. God calls us to be shepherds to His flock. Besides that, they are really smart, obedient, fluffy, and absolutely adorable. They also keep your feet warm in the winter.
I LOVE MY GERMAN SHEPHERD! :D

God made both, try and think of which ones Jesus would have been around when he was walking here on the earth. Also, getting one that has a cross on it like its markings or something would be good. I cant remember which kind, but there is a specific kind of donkey that actually has a cross going down its back, its the kind that Jesus rode on Palm Sunday.

dont be too concerned what a mythological murdering adulterus barbaric god might think about dog breeds, obviously he is too busy watching sport events and award shows to care about dog breeds or hatred or greed or protecting abducted molested murdered children etc, etc, etc...
what a score card that guy has huh? not too good for someone who gets credit for creation is it.

Well then, as a Christian, let me assure you that the only choice is a Collie. I've had one for ten years and he's absolute perfection. Smart, loyal, beautiful and very loving. And I am sure that God loves him too.

G-d prefers Golden Retrievers; they have great personalities AND they are good with kids.
