You know i really don't like the word "bored". It suggests you've not enough to do. I never seem to get bored much, and am greatful for that. But i suspect that is a sign GOD with me. All i can say is if you are bored try doing something productive like helping other people. I suppose it is a common problem that people have everything, food enough, luxury enough cars, swimming pools, television, radio, video games, computers, news papers, books, friends, theaters, lakes, parks, and a million things to do in work and recreation, and then say they are bored? Come on, get up off your backside and go help someone who is suffering. At the very least stop complaining. Though giving some more than you have might help a little bit. Who that is suffering complains of boredom? And who that is busy complains of boredom? Who that is poor complains of boredom? you've really got to reasses your priorities in LIFE.
LOVE your neighbor as yourself.
Amen.

Eternity won't be long enough to finish praising God!
: ^ )
~EDIT~
Wildman, your mind, heart, and spirit are stuck down here on Earth, in the dust from which you sprang. If you can possibly think of Heaven as boring, you really, really need to learn HOW TO LOOK UP. There's an excellent book called the Bible that deals with exactly that subject. God bless you!

People have a misconception because WE limit our thinking to what we see and have here, and the fact that we age and get weary etc.
Think of how you felt at the prime of your life, and 1oo% healthy... SOOOOO much to do, so little time.
Every morning we awake and our whole mission in life is to live. That's why we eat, take certain medications, precautions , drive carefully etc.
In heaven our brain function will be 100%, body 100%, no flaws... we will be at our best. We will have the entire universe to explore, as a spiritual being. Like Jesus walked through the wall, we will not be limited either.
In that state.... I don't think boredom will be a possibility.
Have a great one!

This is the exact same questions my sister asked before she died in December of 2004. She knew there was a heaven because of faith and what God promise. Jesus said "In my house, there are many mansions". Yes, eternity is a loooong time, however, there will be much to do. I told my sister, "when did any of the saints in heaven or the angels ever complained about boredom? Yes, there are many, many people we need to meet, like John F. Kennedy, Tammy Faye Bakker-Messner, Martin Luther King, Mary, the mother of Jesus, George Washington, your great-great-great-great grandparents on your father and mother's side, people of other cultures and nations--holy people who made it to heaven. One day, we will meet, providing you go to heaven. God bless you and plan for your future here on earth and in heaven.

The music - you'll have to hear it to believe it. Yes, it is that good. The Cherubim and Seraphim are good but the multi-eyed creatures are the best - they get the place rocking. It is one big love in with the eternal Liturgy.

The Tree of Life has leaves that will cure boredom.
Rev..22:2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every * * month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
healing means "healing boredom"

Eternal is beyond time and space. Eternal is a different kind of existence that cannot be expressed in terms of time.
