If I say the colour of the clouds are white (true, today anyhow, in my hemisphere)... and you reply with .. the clouds are not green.

Then we are both correct, and we have both made true statements.

If it's true, then both the statements "Jumping off the Empire State Building will cause me harm" and "Jumping off the Empire State Building won't cause me harm" are equally true. Not something I would particularly like to test, if it's all the same.

What passes for truth among people, is at best half-truth. The opposite of that opinion is equally half-true.

Okay, lets test this hypothesis.

Truth: Under your own power, without any mechanical parts, you can physically fly.

Opposite: You can't.

Test it, and let us know how it comes out.
