Like it assumes something that hasn't been proven: namely, that all objects of religion are imaginary. And it assumes both sides are fighting over religion when one could simply be fighting for self-preservation because the other side attacked it because of its religion was different.

It sounds like Al Gore's " I invented the internet" statement. It really didn't have anything to do with anything.

When will people realize that it's only the peons in Islam that think it's about a religious war?

This is the kind of question I am going to be avoiding from now on, but just one final time before I move on to the worthwhile questions I will say what this question deserves.

It is only the absolutely stupid and foolish people who will mock God in their lives no matter what form of mockery they use. God will not be mocked - unless you repent you will be facing His wrath on judgment day instead of His mercy by your own choice. YOU WILL FIND OUT THAT HE IS FAR FROM IMAGINARY THEN!!!

I feel that there is some truth to this statement. Why? Because God and imaginary friends both require faith. What is the point of that when there is no proof that either exist or doesn't exist?

God is real! Christ taught Christians to love both friends and enemies, not to do violence, and that He was the only way (John 14:6).

Yep. That's what you fight against religion in general, if you're going to fight at all.
