I personally believe that no one in power is actually a follower of God. God doesnt endorse the election. It would mean he would have a favorite making him not God. If you know alot about politics and history, you will know that the ones in power arent followers of God. They use God to get votes while they actually dont believe or dont care.
Bush is a liar, hes into homosexuals, he misleads people, he kills people (by signing things), and he hates America. I wont say why, itll take forever, but things like 9/11 were planned years ago to attack the east. Bush just used Gods name to get into office, even though he lost both times too.

God doesn't get involved in the political things of this system. When the time comes he WILL turn his attention to the Earth and destroy all the current political entities along with the real Ruler of This system of things.
2 Corinthians 4:4 among whom the god of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, that the illumination of the glorious good news about the Christ, who is the image of God, might not shine through.
Also read Daniel 2.
God definitely does NOT endorse the political systems of this world. He is only tolerating them for a period of time.
Ephesians 2:2 in which YOU at one time walked according to the system of things of this world, according to the ruler of the authority of the air, the spirit that now operates in the sons of disobedience.
John 14:30 I shall not speak much with YOU anymore, for the ruler of the world is coming. And he has no hold on me,
Rev 12:7 And war broke out in heaven: Mi′cha·el and his angels battled with the dragon, and the dragon and its angels battled 8 but it did not prevail, neither was a place found for them any longer in heaven. 9 So down the great dragon was hurled, the original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth; he was hurled down to the earth, and his angels were hurled down with him.
12 On this account be glad, YOU heavens and YOU who reside in them! Woe for the earth and for the sea, because the Devil has come down to YOU, having great anger, knowing he has a short period of time.”

I'm just as cool as any god, and I would be (relatively) happy with Al Gore, Bill Richardson, Rudy Giuliani, or John McCain.
I'd be okay with Clinton or Obama, though I'm not really excited about either.
Brownback, Huckabee, and Gingrich scare me.
I know very little about Fred Thompson at this point, so I cannot say how I'd feel about him being elected.

You mean gods endorse US Presidents? A god endorses Bush? That's as good an argument for atheism as any I've seen.

God is not "for" any candidate. He calls candidates to be for Him.
Joshua 5:13 When Joshua was by Jericho, he lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, a man was standing before him with his drawn sword in his hand. And Joshua went to him and said to him, "Are you for us, or for our adversaries?"
14 And he said, "No; but I am the commander of the army of the LORD. Now I have come." And Joshua fell on his face to the earth and worshiped and said to him, "What does my lord say to his servant?"
Preachers are called to preach the gospel, not to run for office. A Christian can be called to serve in public office but that is a different calling than that of a Preacher.

No, i don't think of it may well be a clever decision for McCain to choose Lieberman as his working mate. McCain has adequate issues in attempting to charm to the main conservative of his base without picking a liberal, former Democrat as vice chairman.

God is not concerned with our forms of government. Jesus is our King, and our citizenship is in heaven. The gospel is preached and Christ's church thrives throughout the world under all forms of government. Righteousness exalts a nation, not its political persuasion. Jesus never supported a particular political candidate, if I remember correctly. "Give unto Cesar what is Cesar's, and unto God what is God's."
