I don't know if I have the mainstream view on this but I do not see anything wrong with men and women having sex with other people despite being in commited relationships. It is very much possible to love and want to spend the rest of your life with a person and have sex with others. If you do it behind other people's backs then that is a separate issue but there are some people who are open about it and their spouses agree to it or find nothing wrong about it.

How do you feel about this?

Respect and ritual. Respect to keep the children in awe so as to reduce the questions that might arise as to the large problem of no proof and ritual to remind them of their obedience. This is a common practice in prisons to keep the inmates inline. Are people unable to see that they are being manipulated or do they choose not to see it?

1. why can't priests marry? I know that there are married priests but they usually were married before they became catholic priests right?
2. Why does the catholic church have all of the rituals from communion to confession to rosary beads etc? Jesus did not wear all of the garments that catholic preists wear nor did he and the disciples have such elaborate rituals.
3. It seems to me from my limited knowledge of the bible and history that the early church was very much meetings in houses and praying together etc. Isn't that enough for god? why add more to it?
4. I realize that catholic means universal and that the catholic or even the roman catholic church was the first church basically but all of the laws, rituals, sacriments and everything was made by man not god or jesus. (I'm generalizing a bit but you know what I mean.)
5. Can a man alone pray to god not jesus and still find god? why not cut out the middle man?

I sound opinionated but my questions are serious.

in my opinion, when we christians doubt evolution because it's not of the bible, and because the question is, why would god have spent Billions of years evolving us when he could of just blinked us into exsistence, to me suggests that God's work nwas not important, and even more that WE humans are the only thing on Gods plate. Sure God is capable of blinking us into exsistnce but who could know God's true intentions were. We suggest that because God may have taken any time in evloving this earth and this universe that he should of been in rush in creation. Am I non Christian like for even suggesting that maybe it took a little longer than 6 days. I beleive in God with all my heart, and Jesus is my savior, but I don't understand how we can deny scientific evidence. The evidence dies not suggest God doesn't exsist. it suggest someone wrote down the wrong darn thing!

It seems like whenever any one asks a question against chrisitians none of them really answer. Theres alot of "God will save you" or "God has filled me" but no answers. If some one brings up thats theres no proof of a global flood, the contradictions in the bible, or the bigotry in the bible even when examples are used no real answers are given. At best you can expect a pick and choose answer.
I asked a question earlier that was just a fun question about stupid answers on R&S but all the chrisitans did was say how misled people who give those answers are. I was hoping for some funny answers from both sides but only the non-christians gave real answers. What gives?

I feel if someone "important" ask a question, it automatically goes to the main with tons of stars. Certain quesions asked in certain groups would never make it to the main.

I would like my question to appear there..i wonder, who decides if its important or not?

My teacher told a red head in my class that one of his relatives had sex with an orangutan and thats why he has red hair. She even had a picture of the monkey and put it up to his face. It showed an uncanny resemblance between the monkey and him, she also said that white people came from snow monkeys. She couldn't possibly be racist because she herself is white. At first I didn't believe it because I didn't like the idea that I'm related to a snow monkey but when she had the pictures of the snow monkeys and white people next to each other there was a huge resemblance. I guess I'm a monkey's aunt.
