Some people put animals before human beings. They'd risk their life for this creature. Often, if there's a love interest of theirs that turns out to not like animals, they'll dismiss them and never speak to them again. What makes these dumb beasts so important to people, especially girls?

Stay tuned for extra information to answer some questions. I check repeatedly.

@ Jeff S: Why did you refer to humans as pigs?? Isn't that mean to the animals... :)

I don't exactly agree with hunting. I find it unnecessary. But I don't see the purpose for having house pets. They are loyal because they have been trained and conditioned to obey us humans in order to have protection from the elements and as a source of food because they aren't exactly ready to survive and hunt in the wild. I know cats and some dogs defy this rule, but just look at all of the zoo animals. Some get turned loose in the jungle and die soon after because of their inability to learn. Humans are so much above animals because we CAN learn. Animals can be taught tricks, but they couldn't use a computer even if they had opposable thumbs!

I did not get dumped by an animal loving girl. I just want to know why people love animals are so dumb in spite of their obvious stupidity.

My little sister loves dogs, yet she does say that [the dog we're stuck with from my grandparents] is annoying. Yet she continues to love it and play with it despite! It makes no sense to me!

First off...if she is an animal lover and he is not...it isn't a good match.

It would be different however if one is allergic to a type of animal. In that case, depending on how much the man (who is allergic) cares about the woman and her feelings, he could do many things to alleviate the problem without having her have to get rid of her pets...on the agreement that once the pet dies...another won't replace the pet the SO is allergic to. Make sense.

Now...if the woman totally disregards the mans issues and is inflexible...he should get rid of her because it is a bad mix anyway and he will never be first in her life...he will always play second to her animals.

I do not believe that animals should take precedence over people..although for women...especially those who have been hurt...animals can honestly be the only ones they feel they can trust.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that you can look at the obsession as a good thing or a bad thing. You can look at it that you know where her priorities lay and if you do not think you can deal with the priorities the way they are you know up front and can leave. Or you can get pissed off about it and throw a temper tantrum like a 3 year old. Your choice.

i'm an environmentalist and have faith in animal rights yet on a similar time don't think animals ought to have any further rights as people. they must be equivalent in rights not extra or much less. Now as you have aptly spoke of there is definitely a organic order of issues. i've got faith this organic includes no longer taking any farther from nature than is needed. If we want meat for survival then it is comprehensible. I although think of that maximum persons of the international is at a place wherein they could forgo meat and easily be the in good shape for it. As some important area advantages it may help to alleviate a mass quantity of suffering besides as take the pressures off the ambience that produces meat reasons. Now i do no longer comprehend what you're concerning while it includes blowing issues out of share. I easily have heard PETA is against issues like seeing eye canines and that i agree it is rather stupid. yet encouraging society to make compassionate and conscious selections is something yet stupid. IMO it is one step nearer to enlightenment.

Some people see animals as innocent, acting only with instinct and therefore lacking the worst characteristics of humans, and inmost cases unable to protect themselves from the encroachment of humans or mistreatment from humans.

Others see humans as another type of animal - no better, no worse, and give an animals the same respect due other humans. Anything a human feels an animal has the potentioa to feel as well.

Some see animals the same as inanimate objects -to be uses as they had no feelings, pain or value other than to profet humans.

I am somewhere between the first two. We are part of the animal kingdon, have a role in the food chain, but also as we have the capability to destroy species and even entire ecosystems we also have a responsibility to protect it as we would protect members of our own species.

Well - maybe because a dog would never refer to anybody or anything as a "dumb beast" - and it wouldn't clump all of the "girls" together. Animals are innocent - and they are loyal to us unconditionally. They don't care if we are fat or have a dirty house or got an F on our last exam. They will still treat us as if we're the greatest. There are a lot of animals who I like better than some of the people I know.

Let me guess.... You just got dumped because you didn't like some woman's pet.

Smart lady!!!

Instinct to protect the weak/innocent? Mixed up priorities? Withdrawal from humans and thus more faith, hope, and love towards animals?

Because we're fat, dumb, racist pigs that are killing other humans in the name of "God" and other animals in the name of food. We live in an inviroment where we don't need to kill for our food...so why do we? Also we are destroying the Earth and the enviroment and the animals are sitting there being peaceful and not fighting with us for caging them and killing them (in the long term).

I'm not a girl.... but God gave us dominion (care) over all of the earth and all of it's creatures. I love all people. I love all animals.

But I've never had a dog spit at me, call me names, try to stab me or rob my house.

Because people suck. Just because we possess a higher intelligence and opposable thumbs, that doesn't make us better than animals. People are full of crap, animals just want their tummies scratched. It's an easy choice.
