It is thoroughly frustrating and annoying isn't it. I have asked a particular religious group specific questions several times and each and every time they side stepped the issue, refused to answer on the grounds that I 'didn't really want to know the answer" which was a load of rubbish as I really DID want to know or they accuse me of trying to stirr up trouble for them. I don't try to cause problems around here, I do the opposite and try to help people get along.
I can only guess that they and others who avoid the questions asked of them simply don't have the answers or their faith is so weak they take offence at the simplest query.
They are really hypocritical.

It's a matter of training. If you say "sit" to a dog, they sit. Why? Because they know what the three letters s-i-t put together & pronounced at once mean? No, because they were trained that when you hear this word you do nothing else but sit. Individuals of deep convictions are very similiar. They typically have been trained since birth to only believe one thing. If something comes up that contradicts that thing they go back to their native roots and just SIT, because thats what they were trained.
Don't forget the statement "It's all a matter of faith" That is one of my favorites... :)

We do answer questions. For us, know that God is there or what the Bible says is enough of an answer for us. Oh, the Great Flood does have archaeological findings that do support it. They found water markings high up in the mountains and it is at the same layer all around the earth. They also found a boat with the same dimensions of the arc high up in a mountain in Turkey. It was found far from any known water levels. Plus many other religions have the flood in their stories. Get used to our answers because they work for us and fellow Christians understand them. Is that a good enough answer for you? God Bless.

Christians following false religions are brainwashed, therefore cannot think for themselves. true studiers of the Bible have a much stronger faith and want to help in any way they can. Because people who study the Bible do so with the free will they are granted instead of what some church leader has said, they are able to formulate intelligent thought and speculate about what God expects of them. If you are brainwashed all you can do is repeat what you are told like a robot.

i dont know what you are talking about. i try to answere as best i can. people however do try to make claims all the time. i can care less if you try to say they proved that the earth is millions of years old because of whatever method because i can find thru christian research that they have proven methods of proving how old the earth is to not be acurate. and misleding because a lot of scientist say they have facts when they dont. i mean they said the earth at one time was billions of years old and that it was a fact. was even in science books tell it was proved not true and now they say it is millions of years old as fact. however it is not a fact and they cant prove how old the earth is. and the fact is they cant prove it is old or young. but they cant disprove it is young either. and yes i dont have every answere for everything. but again most people can do what i do and search the internet. and look at both sides. not just one side showing that this is why they proved the earth being old. when the other side might show how they cant prove it is old because of this reason. they only assume.

a persons world is only as far as they can see. so in only a boat, with water as far as they can see. They might think everywhere is underwater, the boat inland would not likely to drift far. so the might not see anything to change this idea. after all they didnot have TV or radio with someone on the other side of the planet, high and dry praying for rain

It is because Christianity is based on the idea that faith in the Christian teachings is what saves you, whether those teachings make any sense or not. So you see, logic will not work with this people, since logic has absolutely nothing to do with faith.

What's funny is they say the same thing about the atheists when the situation is reversed, only most of them who ask questions seem to be more interested in mocking than learning.
