According to me, God is everything around us, everything we see, hear, feel. The existence must have a reason. The creation of universe must have a reason. Thus there must be some force which created the universe.
Thus, according to me, God is the force which created universe and is the reason of existence of the universe. Thinking that God is some "man-shaped creature" is totally weird and crazy.

I assume you mean the God of Christians or Jews.
The God of Christians or Jews is a non-existent being, believed to exist, but without evidence, by Christians and Jews. It originates in tribal times and is generally accepted uncritically. God is a "who," to Christians and Jews and a "what," to everyone else.
Despite the lack of evidence of divine beings, and in fact evidence against, belief continues because in reality, it isn't important enough to dispute. People do not change barbers because of this belief, for example. It really doesn't matter that much. And it helps some people to get along, people use stories to manage their world. Mythology springs up everywhere from the stock market to church to politics to urban legends. It reduces the amount of knowledge people need in order to function on a daily basis.
