http://www.medicinenet.com/script/main/art.asp?articlekey=47317 Married people who cheat.
http://ask.yahoo.com/20070130.html Gay % of the population

You do the math. Why so much hand-wringing over gays with so many extra marital affairs? 22% & 15% of 97% of the population dwarfs the number of gays by a long shot. Even if only half get married, the numbers still dwarf they gay population.

When I got on the bus, I didn't see my friend and didn't say hello to her. I was chatting with my co-worker about my plan to go to the CN Tower that night with my friend from Europe.

My friend heard my conversation with my co-worker and told me in an email about it.

She had the opportunity to look up from her paper and say hello to us. I was waiting for her to look up from her paper and to say hello to us. But she never did because she appeared to be reading and I was distracted with chatting with my co-worker.

I thought she didn't realize that I was there. It was crowded and load on the bus. But she did realize I was there.

She heard my conversation and listened on it. Why did she eavesdrop on me and not say something?

But

buddhism explains death as the separation of mind and body, after which the body disintegrates and the mind continues to another life. We don't cling to our self-image as something permanent and unchanging. This is not to imply there is something wrong with trying to stay a life. But when time comes we accept death peacefully. in many religion like christianity death is seen as evil that should be avoided at all cause why is that? why do christian moarn the death?

Then why aren't real scientists flocking to discredit it? The one thing just about every scientist dreams of doing is disproving an accepted theory.

If the case against evolution is so strong, how come the only people arguing it are religious wackos with little grounding in biology?

Excerpt from article:

"A man making a trip from Puerto Rico to South Florida to raise money for his religious education remains hospitalized Monday after he was struck down by a bolt of lightning which flew from clear blue sky on Sunday. He was selling religious materials when he was hit."

Sounds like ironic coincidence to me... but I'm agnostic.

What do y'all think?

for the devil is against them.....they have the smallist religion, Lots of people hate them...don't know why? The christians say their laws are stupid.....or thank you for Jesus for your laws are stupid. To many to fallow....most of it is common sense.....maybe 5 that are werid....I still need understanding. if you look at it the christian way has 652 laws itself, do not sleep with animals....or do you belive that with Jesus it is ok to.
what is really changed in the law, pork and some other little things.......the christians all say I am glad he died for me....it is like they partook in the crusifix themselfs. No real care, for the lamb of God....or I will hear can you imagine all those sheep that would have to be sacrificed, I am thankfull the son of God is on that tree. I would rather Jesus be a animal sacrafice then this lamb.

Sometimes, when I am here on Yahoo Answers, and see all this religious dogmatic hate and mudslinging, it scares me!

Before we know it, the radical Christians and the radical Muslims are going to start coming after everyone. (Or have they started already?) It seems these right wing fundamentalists (from both sides) have so much hate in them towards everyone else, they are ready to explode. And crazy religious people are some of the most dangerous, as history has proven, time and again.

It's like we are heading back into the Dark Ages when they burned witches and threw people of other faiths to the lions. When someone who simply spoke their mind could be persecuted for not being with the majority. When people would have huge "holy" wars in order to beat the other faction down no matter how many innocent lives it cost them.

I guess, even being 28 years old, I never realized that there were so many crazy, narrow minded zealots in the world.

It's frightening. Thoughts?

A christians, God sent us his holy spirit to guide us on our spiritual journey. Why do then put all that power in the hands of another human being? Why learn someone else's view point when you can form your own?

As I browsed the questions and answers today, I am amazed by the number of WRONG answers given by Christians. For example, someone asked the question "Why does God kill people." There were numerous answers that something like, "Read your Bible, God doesn't kill people!" The people with these answers obviously had not actually read the Bible. Consider the following verses:

1 Samuel 6:19
But God struck down some of the men of Beth Shemesh, putting seventy of them to death because they had looked into the ark of the LORD.

2 Samuel 6:7
The LORD's anger burned against Uzzah because of his irreverent act; therefore God struck him down and he died there beside the ark of God.

Acts 12:23
Immediately, because Herod did not give praise to God, an angel of the Lord struck him down, and he was eaten by worms and died.

Answering the world's questions is not as simple as "Jesus loves you!" So, how many actually check before answering?

I have nothing against them at all. But I live in Florida and there are so many of them at the bus stations one day I counted nine of them I couldn't believe it I had to go around just to advoid them. I didn't feel like talking about anything that day.

Then one day I told one that am very sleepy I had to get up 4am for school and I made it close to my school by 7am but she said ok and went on.But oddly to me I think they should find new ways to pass out thoes books I see too many people like myself throwing them away to me if someones interested they would go up to one. Plus thats too many trees.

My Grandmother (the only Jehovah in the family)is one so its not like a hate thing but don't you agree that they should wait for people to go to them and not the other way around? I even missed my ride over one.

I believe in God but am not a Jehovah witness.

if you truly think god has a plan for your life, have you ever stopped to consider:
1. there are poor, hungry, dying people all over the world, is this his plan for them? p.s. if you've never been to a third world country, you should go, it will open up your eyes and mind.
2. why would an all-powerful being be concerned with such soap-operatic drama that he entertains himself by watching humans fulfill his ''plans''? i.e. don't you ever feel like a pawn being used in a sick, perverted chess match.
3. what does your part in this ''universal plan'' actually accomplish? because it seems as this ''plan'' of his is failing miserably.
4. if there actually is a plan, is jesus a ''referee'' of sorts.
