No food is sinful.

9 The next day, as they went on their journey and drew near the city, Peter went up on the housetop to pray, about the sixth hour. 10 Then he became very hungry and wanted to eat; but while they made ready, he fell into a trance 11 and saw heaven opened and an object like a great sheet bound at the four corners, descending to him and let down to the earth. 12 In it were all kinds of four-footed animals of he earth, wild beasts, creeping things, and birds of the air. 13 And a voice came to him, "Rise, Peter; kill and eat." 14 But Peter said, "Not so, Lord! For I have never eaten anything common or unclean." 15 And a voice spoke to him again the second time, "What God has cleansed you must not call common." 16 This was done three times. And the object was taken up into heaven again. Acts 10:9-16 NKJV

And, no...chocolate is not in Scripture.

I'm a Christian, however, this category is for Religion & Spirituality so you are going to have a "variety" of answers. Think about it this way, it's human nature to want to peek into an envelope that is addressed confidential. If you address your question as Attn. Christians!!!? It's going to be like setting a cookie jar on the counter in front of your twin girls (I read your 360-how beautiful). Sometimes, things are irresistable. Those that do not have the power of God with them, do not have the strength to overcome. They judge when they should not. They cast stones. Maybe someday Yahoo will create a site(s) specifically designed for religion(s) and that will eliminate much of the chaos. For now, however, ask the questions that you wish to ask. You will receive answers from all sides. Remember, you have the gift of discernment and can sift through them.

Leviticus chapter 11 lists the dietary restrictions God gave to the nation of Israel. The dietary rules were never intended to apply to anyone other than Israel. Jesus later declares all foods clean (Mark 7:19). God gave the apostle Peter a vision in which He declares concerning formerly unclean animals, “Do not call anything impure that God has made clean” (Acts 10:15). When Jesus died on the cross, He put an end to the Old Testament law (Romans 10:4; Galatians 3:24-26; Ephesians 2:15). This includes the laws regarding clean and unclean foods.

No food is sinful, but if you serve something you know is offense, such as pork or whatever, ya simply dont serve it.
As for 'you guys' pulling anything out of the bible, yes anything can be pulled out of the bible, but is it being used in its correct context, or subject, or what is the message.

Its like reading any sentence out of a paragraph. You have to read the whole thing.
Now go ahead and eat that twix bar.

I have a recipe for chocolate peanut butter fudge that my pastor says would make the angels beg for a taste...

No, silly, chocolate is not a sin.
Jesus loves chocolate...that's why the Easter Bunny brings it to the kids on His Resurrection Day!

No. The Old Testament dietary laws no longer apply to us; in the NT, Peter has a dream about eating some of the forbidden foods of the OT but God tells him that it's okay to eat that stuff now.

The cookie recipe looks mouthwatering; thanks for sharing it with us. I'll try it sometime.

Hahaha... We don't just pull Anything out of the Bible. We have to see the context of it.
But in some degrees I have to agree with you, Bible always have all the answers, that's why Christians can answer anything with our Bible.

Chocolate comes from cocoa beans from the cacao tree which was unknown except to Native Americans when the bible was written, and they smoked it not ate it.

So I don't see how it can be wrong to eat it.
