Learn science and study the universe. You'll soon find there is no need to believe in a mythological being.

Spirituality is vital in our lives especially with all the negativity that surrounds us , News , disasters, stress, relationships, work , etc.
A type of belief system is shown psychologically to be healthy, Now i understand your confusion, there is SO much out there everything claiming to be the truth, the key i think is to form a relationship with God, whatever way YOU relate to him, my advice is look into all beliefs take a year or so (maybe more) and do research, first start with the ancient ones get to know the structure and how everything got started, move on from there into modern times, remember all paths lead us down the same road just in different ways , and you will find that the more you learn , as your wisdom grows, you will soon feel what works for you and what doesn't.

1 Thessalonians 5:21 But examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good

1 John 4:1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

I hope this helps. Blessed be.

what did you choose? You could research religions and take classes and such to learn about them and the beliefs. Once you know what each religion believes in, you should question yourself: do I believe that also? If you believe all of the same beliefs, the next step would be to go to a service/ mass/ whatever and find out if you feel a sense of belonging, I suppose. Look around at the people there, do they look like positive people or are they all asleep? ask friends what religion they "belong to" and talk to them about it. Say for instance you have a really close friend that you admire and share attitudes with, prehaps you have the same beliefs and should therefore "belong" to the same religion. Also be sure to read the texts they follow (like a Bible) and see if you believe the stuff in it. Good luck!!

You should check out as many religions as possible before settling on one or even none...That way you make the most educated decision. But one thing....Go at least twice to each one. To make sure that you didn't just catch a bad service. But go to many places of diffrent religions.

I myself had that same questions about 2 years ago. I then went to a church that was non-denominational and I felt at home. That's how I knew I was where I was meant to be!

Good luck with this! I hope you find a place that is right for you! No one can tell you what to belive. Just trust your heart...it will guide you in the right direction!

Christ is the only one who proved that he was God when he rose from the dead. All other religions have dead prophets who are in their graves. Jesus Christ is alive.
Jesus is the only way of salvation because He is the only One who can pay our sin penalty (Romans 6:23). No other religion teaches the depth or seriousness of sin and its consequences. No other religion offers the infinite payment of sin that only Jesus Christ could provide. No other “religious founder” was God become man (John 1:1,14) – the only way an infinite debt could be paid. Jesus had to be God so that He could pay our debt. Jesus had to be man so He could die. Salvation is available only through faith in Jesus Christ! “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).

Well in defense of the gospel Christ was here before the foundation of the world, He is God, and He created the world. Since man fell from grace, religions abound more and more and yet as we come to the end of all time, religion seems to be more at the front of mens minds more than they have ever been before. There is only one True relationship with God and that is through the man Christ Jesus, who was also God incarnate. He came to be clothed with us so that we may be clothed with His relationship with the Father. In one way of being all religions are going to the same place - Hell and all who follow them are running headlong into the pit. The only way to escape Hell is to have a relationship with God through Christ and faith in God, to ask for the forgiveness of sins and to cry out to God to have him forgive you of those sins, to hear from Him, and to have a love relationship with God - the Word of God is our manual to show us the love of God and what He has done to show us how much He loves us! To doubt that is to fall into unbelief which is sin.

If you are unsure pray. James 1:5. Have faith in Christ, that is more importantly than the Church you go to.

Figure out what you believe, study the different religions your interested in, and choose the one that your own believes agree with. No one can tell you what to believe or what faith/religion to follow it's something you have to decide on your own.

Don't ask God for advice. Go take a Comparative Religions class at your local community college and make an informed rational decision.
