I am American but have recently moved to Belgium, and my daughter attends a Dutch speaking school. She has learned the basics, but I would like to know if anyone could recommend some good programs for children in Dutch. so she can become fluent faster? She's 8, so no Telletubbies or other baby programs.

Also- she loves Spongebob... is that translated into Dutch? The only ones I could find online have Dutch subtitles but the voices are still in English, which doesn't help much.

Thanks in advance for your help.

This is in the UK asked by a white guy, I'm just suprised that hair is covered yet feet wearing sparkly high heels are not covered. I find a high heel sexy and therefore find it sexually attractive to look at women wearing them.

Can this mix of messages continue? What do you think?

I'm trying to think of some that aren't and I think of having children, but you don't do that for the child, you do it for yourself.

I think of charity. But don't we do that to avoid feelings of guilt or perhaps in the hopes of building our character or otherwise making ourselves feel good?

Do we really ever do anything good for others to our own detriment or less, something that isn't ultimately in some way to our benefit (not necessarily material benefit)?

If it were just animals, plants and micro-organisms would the earth be in the state it is in now? With pollution, global warming, world hunger, racism, prejudice. It’s like everything that was put on this earth was meant for our nourishment and to help us, but we take advantage of it … it’s like that with everything we use everything the wrong way (ex. sex, money, people, our minds and even our earth. It’s the only one we have and we’re killing it.) In your opinion is the human race a mistake?

How does one say "Can I have your autograph?" and "Can I take a picture with you?" in Spanish?

I would prefer people who really know the language to give the answer rather than just use an online translator to come up with the translation.

I live in 'College Park, Ga. My fiancee and i would like to join a church. Demonition really isn't an issue. We would just like the church to be similar to that of Joyce Meyer, or the like. A lecture, more than tons of reading followed by tons of singing.

For those with short attention span: I'm basically asking if it is possible to keep a low level of "disbelief," or will religions just keep resurfacing?

Long attention Span: Usually the secularist point of view holds that these Bronze Age myths of Christianity and such persist due to their prolongues history and astounding numerical influence. The goal becomes to free their members of such delusion, thus substracting from their numbers. However, with the recent rise of Paganism, Wicca, and Scientology we can see how easily this nonsence can breed. Does it then follow that freeing the world from religion is impossible? For further clarification, I know that eradicating religion entirely is impossible, but is it possible that it becomes cyclical as new generations come into birth and new beliefs arise/re-rise?

In the United States, the accepted standard of measurement for pretty much everything is based on the Imperial system. Efforts to change over to metric have spurred heated debate. So why is there no opposition to using millimetres to measure ammunition?

You never see a Super Bowl loser blame god for his loss, or an Academy Award loser say "I blame god every day for this loss."

I wonder why?

i just bought a hunting knife from singarms in beach road. although the owner claims that the knife was first hand, i had my doubts since it's badly rusted (an old knife) and has lots of scratch marks (evidence that suggests it's in fact, second hand). still i bought it because it has such a fine blade for a low price (due to the rust, maybe??). even got some old novels from sungei road.
call me superstitious and/or paranoid, but what are the chances of such objects being haunted or cursed??

just look at you. you are worthless. you are too weak to even give me a thumbs down. and look at your goofy face, what's your yahoo answer for that trainwreck? what happened to you? what went wrong in your life for you to end up like this. i feel sorry for you, you can't even give me a thumb down. what does it hurt your prissy little hands to do the motion? come on I dare you to give me a thumbs down.... I knew you couldn't do it. that's what i get for believing in you, wuss. how far do you expect to get in life if you can't even give me a thumbs down? are you going to go your whole life being a complacent zombie? when people ask you if you like something you obviously don't, do you say: " heh, it was o-kay i guess". wuss. i bet you haven't even mustered up the courage to even THINK about giving me a thumbs down. fine i don't care, why should I? do you just expect others to take care of your business? u sound like capote "huh I wont give him a thumbs down, somebody else will" wuss.
