Not bloody likely.

God also told him that Orlando would get wiped out by a hurricane because Disney had their gay day back in '97 I think. Didn't happen.

People like Robertson make millions off of making others fearful. The current administration does the same thing for different ends.

The man is a lier and a fraud. More so than the psychics he attacks. If psychics get their knowledge from the devil, then so does Pat.

The bible is clear that when a person predicts something and says God told them, then that prediction must come about exactly as the predictor sid, and if not the person doing the predicting is not from God.

I have heard Pat back in the seventies quote this same scripture to prove the psychics were not from God and if they were, they would have a 100 per cent trak record.
Pat pridected that Bush would win office easily in 2000, however that was one of the hardest elections ever. It was so close it was contested and Bush had to be elected by the electorial collage. this alone proves Pat is not in contact with God.

In the article I read Pat bragged and said he is not always right, but he has a pretty good trak record. anyone can have a good trak record whtn it is a fifty fity chance

I'm sorry but I think Pat Robertson is a bit nutty and I really don't believe he has insider information from God. Saying there will be a terrorist attack in the US given the state of the world is not a stretch unfortunately. He is, as another said, playing on fears to garner an audience. If it doesn't occur he will say his or his followers personal prayers or the intervention of some other force he approves of prevented it. Or he'll come up with something else. If it occurs he is setting himself up to try to play the prophet. Either way he draws some of the fearful and/or gullible in.

He is a citizen of the United States. He can say anything he wants as long as he does not promote the overthrow of our government. Some could argue that he is making a suggestion close to it but only he would know that. Also, even with God whispering in his ear (soul) others could site that even predicting a major terrorist attack, such as after September, could be construed as a lead up to a terrorist attack on his part. If we are all God's children, I'm not sure you and I got that same information. I know I sure didn't. I just don't want him to place himself in such a light that others would consider him as a domestic enemy of the state by spreading pandemonium. Anything is possible no matter who says it. If you or I could have also said it on national TV on the same day as he did, wouldn't we have just as much of a chance of getting it right (or wrong) as he is going too, if we are all equal under the law. Pat Robertson is full of it. He's nothing more than an opportunist who will do anything to focus attention on himself for the sake of gaining more viewers, to put more bucks in his pocket.
Talked to God...yeah right!!
Religion is the most successful business in the world, and has been for centuries.
Take note of the mansions these guys live in, their private planes, world travel, bank accounts, etc. If they were what they claim to be, then they'd all donate the multi-millions they make to charity, and only keep what they need to live the simple life of a truly religious man.
Mahatma Ghandi was a truly religious man, not these Pat Robertson phonies!
The bottom line for all these guys, and they repeat it over, and over during their shows, is, "send money!"
Wake up and smell the coffee everyone...these guys have been bilking you for centuries.
If you have a God you believe in and want to communicate with Him, you don't need a go-between.

Pat Robertson is not a fundamentalists, he is a charismatic. Quite a difference. A fundamentalists believes that all truth in is in the Bible and revelation has ended. Pat Robertson believes that God still speaks to him and revelation is still taking place.
Jesus said "Follow Me." not "follow Pat".

Sounds like Pat Robertson should be locked up immediately. I am sure he would get along well with all the other fundamentalist terrorists in Cuba.

A terrorist attack! Who can believe such a thing? Did God also tell Pat that then sun will rise in the east each morning?

I bet he asked for donations also. Pat has a few problems, he needs an audience and the best way to get people to listen is to have dire predictions. I do believe that Pat hears voices--many voices. He is just so rich and has such a large entourage that he doesn't need to take the meds.

Why would God warn us through Pat that a terrorist attack is impending, when God ultimately has the power to stop any terrorist attack?
