I've heard the well-known Hebrew version, and I've heard opinions from other faiths. This is more personal than religious.

I am seriously underinformed. I have heard this term many times before, but it appears that different faiths have different definitions... or do they? I welcome all faiths to tell me their definition of zionists and why they are so disliked (or liked...).

I am not Christian though I attended a Catholic high school - however there's one question I never had answered...... If Adam & Eve were the 1st people that God created, when Caine and Abel were born, how did they find themselves wives?

Did God instruct us to tithe in the New Testament? Or was it just an OT teaching/mandatory?

She said it takes a 6 volt adapter that plugs into the wall. It did not come with it and you could use batteries instead. It is driving me nuts!!

And the number of completion in the Bible (like everything in REV) is the number 7.

Seems like He is saying something. Like its only half over and He will be back.

This is how He speaks, like the mystery of parables. Cool, huh?

Blessings,
David

I heard that Americans do not have to pay for calls from a regular phone (not cellphones). Is this true?

It seems that quote always comes at the right time. Please share your personal favorites.
Here are a few( not all are inspirational but they put a smile on my face so what the hell :) )
A pearl is not a pearl until it is out of its shell
He who flings mud, loses a lot of ground
The only job where you start at the top, is digging a hole
You may be on the right track, but if you just sit there you'll get run over
I'm going to stop procrastinating ... once I get around to it.
People are like stained-glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light from within.

My son has 3 teachers. One young female (easy to buy for), and 2 men, 1 young (about 30) and 1, alittle older. What kind of gifts do you think they would really appreciate? I don't think they like personalized mugs and notepads (they must have tons of them) ..I'm thinking something more pratical and/or personal. I'm willing to spend about $25.00-$30.00 each on them. Any ideas?

one of my best friends is trying to convince me i can date better girls. she feels that the girls that i am dating are sluts and bitches. she thinks that i need to break up with my gf. before i date anyone else however she feels that i need to start going to church find god and start "loving myself" as she puts it. I dont know if i can do any better however. Im not usualy a negative type guy but im a little bit scared to do much better. I feel secure where i am right now. i know that my gf is not going to break up with me. Should i listen to my friend, dump my gf right now who is kinda mean find god and then try again but aim for higher or should i remain where i am? I never have found god before even though i do believe that there is a god. I dont believe that he cares about me.

btw im a freshmen in college, athletic build, the prep

Also if your hoping for me to give you best answer dont tell me i have problems

Someone said this as a response to my last question regarding Hell: "in fact it makes more sense to belive in it,than to belive AGAINST it. why? you can't observe that something like that does NOT exist. you can merely observe that you can't observe that it IS there."

So... I suspect this person believes in EVERYTHING. Unicorns, Thor, Aphrodite, the Great Spaghetti Monster, a teapot orbiting the Earth, etc. These things can't be DISPROVED. So one MUST believe in them, huh? That's what the argument sounded like.

Believe in everything unless it's disproved.

That's exactly what theism is. To believe until it's disproved.

The burden of proof is on the theists. They make the claim. It is not up to anyone else to disprove it. That's going against the Scientific Method.

Nor is it up to atheists to prove there is no god. You can't prove a negative.

I have posted this interesting (to me at least) question in another catagory, and was given an opportunity to extend it for a few more days to others to have an opportunity to answer.

Given that we seem to be seeing less and less mannners being displayed by adults let alone children out there public, like covering our mouths when we yawn.

I have always wondered if there are any children out there still being taught basic manners these days. (and yes there are few children that do cover thier mouths to yawn, cough, etc.) I have seen a child as young as four/five year old covering a yawn.

So basically my question again is this, have you ever seen or know a very young child that does this display of good manners. I find it very cute to see a child doing this.

Thanks for reading this.
