The Campaign to Defend the Constitution and the Christian Alliance for Progress, two online political groups, plan to demand today that Wal-Mart dump Left Behind: Eternal Forces, a PC game inspired by a series of Christian novels that are hugely popular, especially with teens.

I just don't understand. Under a capitalist system one could theoretically accomplish anything, under the other system we are talking about a life time of mediocrity. Communism seems to kill millions of people through political persecution or a lack of resources that leads to starvation. Capitalism if it does hurt people it mostly hurts those who sit around whining instead of doing something. We earn and give more money than any other nation on Earth. Give me one good reason why we are wrong or why communism is right?

Mainstream Christians have repudiated the escapist ideas of the Rapture and Jesus taking U-turns before the tribulation and His Second Coming.
Now you have a gory video game that pretends to be "Christian". Does the whole Left Behind thing sound eerily like Ahmadinejad's create chaos theory ? And we know who these man-made theologies really benefit, as they are playing out today.

My friend, who is gay, told a mutual girlfriend that she thought that Alex (not his real name) was F*&king HOT, laughingly he told her that he want to be a pair of Alex's underwear, our friend mentioned it to someone and you know how gossip spreads. Anyways Alex found out and beat the crap out of my friend, bad enough that his nose is broken, he busted his lip and his face is swollen. I admit that the underwear comment was a bit much, but why can't straight guys take a comment about him being goodlooking and be happy? Its not like we're throwing you down and trying to have sex with you, we are just admiring the fact that you are well put together and we are appreciating that

New kid on the block, new in the building 8mos. The neighbors upstairs 12yrs. they have 2 dogs that go poop & potty 4,5 times a day with out being picked up on a regular basis. There loud and when you complain they get worse and call family members with kids to jump and run through the house. The landlord talks with them they quiet for a time to come back with a vengeance. Have called police to no availe. Needed Help in the LOU. ASAP

On the very rare occasion that my Aunt comes to my house, she doesn't get out of her car. She sits in the driveway and toots on the horn, wanting us to come outside and walk up to her car. She does this on my children's birthday and on Christmas. On birthdays she wants us to send our child outside to her car to collect the gift (which she calls for the next 2 weeks to brag about & ask if our child is still playing with the toy she bought). My mother thinks this is very rude and that my husband and I should no longer accomodate her by coming out to the car. ..but rather she should come and knock on the door and come in the house. I can see my mom's point and I tried that once or twice and my Aunt started skipping her once every other month visit. lol
