God prohibited eating of the tree of knowledge. God said, eat from it and you will surely die. Why? Is ignorant good and righteous? When Satan talked to Eve, the serpent told her she would be as God and know right from wrong. She ate, Adam ate and what was the first thing that they recognized was evil? They were naked! What kind of stupid crap is this? Naked! How does naked become evil? How does naked become wrong?
This just seems so stupid.

A lot of people l know put pictures of their kids inside the Christmas cards they send. What do these people expect me to do with snapshots of their children?

I am not talking about my sister's kids or anything, but cousins, friends I hardly see, etc.

My mother died recently at 46 after a 4 years of couragiously fighting cancer. Unfortunetly, she got a very aggressive and rare cancer. Well, about a month after she passed away my father went to see a well known psychic and he happened to hit on almost everything from how she died to even knowing that my aunt had thyroid disease. The kicker is that day my dad had to use my moms keys, well the psychic knew about this and said my mother was laughing about how my dad couldn't find his keys and the psychic had know way of knowing this because my dad never showed the keys to him before he said this. I've always been skeptical about this but maybe there is life after death. Has anyone had any interesting experiences. I mean from a religious point of view it's easy to say "oh yeah there is life after death because the bible says so". But I'm just wondering if anybody has had any real experiences because i'm not sure myself whether to believe, i'm a very skeptical person...

I hear that Princes William and Harry are planning a benefit concert at Wembley to mark 10 years since Princess Diana's death ... great idea! Any thoughts who will grace the stage?

The Stones (a little rock and roll royalty)?

Queen (more royalty)?

Elton John (who redid "Candle in the Wind" as a Diana tribute)?

Bryan Adams (whose hit, "Diana" was often rumoured to be about the princess)?

Does anybody know when this show is scheduled for? I should look into flight costs to Britain ...

For Christmas this year, it's just going to be my Mom, brother, boyfriend and myself. We're making a nice dinner and have ham as our main dish, but I was trying to think of other things to have with dinner besides the normal mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, those sorts of things.

In my first "Get your points", I apparently offended some people by using Xmas. That WAS NOT my intent. My intent IS to wish each and every person a Very Merry Xmas/Christmas and a Very Happy New Year. It is just much easier to type Xmas, instead of Christmas;-). In addition to trying to spread some cheer for the Holiday Season, I also wanted to let people get points. Personally, I feel that if you HAVE to correct me in this most special time of year, I hope Santa will leave a lump of coal in your stocking. Aren't we all just supposed to get along and try to help our fellow man/woman? That's my opinion folks, and I'm sticking to it! :-)) MERRY XMAS/CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
