A lot of people l know put pictures of their kids inside the Christmas cards they send. What do these people expect me to do with snapshots of their children?
I am not talking about my sister's kids or anything, but cousins, friends I hardly see, etc.

People are proud of their children and want to show them off. I personally keep them in a photo album with my other pics. It's Christmas, enjoy the season of sharing.

I never get those but once I got two picture cards of the same kid that I don't know but I know his mom and I just put it in a picture box. Later on in the years when I get senile I'll probably think he's my kid lol. Just keep them somewhere, they wanted you to see their precious ones so you must mean a lot to whoever sent them.

Its all a vanity thing...its like showing off, saying that their kids are so cute and try and top that....we get it all the time too....BUT I will admit that I am sending my Immediate family only, pictures of my kids, only because they are their first school pics, and we don't get to visit very much...you know, that makes sense...not like I'm gonna send it to my cousin's sister's husband's brother's son's uncle's nephew twice removed who is dating my third cousin's stepmother's sister's twin.

Guess scrapbooking is still a girl thing. We put other people's pictures in clear sheet protectors - cousins and close friends. My mom just throws cards away.

i think they just expect you to see how they have grown since the last time they sent you a picture of them..
and
their intentional meaning is probably that they (the people in the picture) with you a happy holiday

yeah i don't know we have gotten some random people lately. i duno put them in a box somewhere? or just throw them away shhh they'll never know and i won't tell
