That is evidence that God exists....God's providence is very evident.

My people are living miracles. We lost our language for almost 2600 years and regained it, that has never happened in the history of history.

All other people who lost all the things that my people, the Jews, lost, disappeared millenia ago....

Well, you don't have to have a "country" to still hold on to your beliefs and traditions. Wherever the Jews were before 1948 they were still "Jewish" or "Israeli" bacuse of where they came from.

To try and help you understand the historical aspect.........

There were 2 times that the Jewish people were taken into captivity during the Old Testament.

During the time of the Kings (Book of Kings 1 & 2) there was "civil war" so to speak and the country was divided into the northern 10 tribes called Samaria or Israel and the lower southern part called Judah (where Jerusalem is located).

The First captivity was by the Assyrians (lived in today's northern Iraq). They had a custom of taking their slaves and captives and spreading them throughout the land to different parts. They weren't necesarrily "lost" just scattered. They mixed in with the cultures they were enslaved too and some eventually moved back into the northern kingdom. (Read through Kings 1 & 2 also Ezekiel)

The Second captivity was by the Babylonians (lived in today's central and southern Iraq). Read book of Daniel to see the story of that captivity. The Babylonians kept the people all together and eventually after 70 years many of those who survivied and their families moved back to Jerusalem and began to rebuild. Although some did stay behind in Babylon. (Read Ezra and Nehemiah)

Later as we get into the early Greek and Roman eras, rulers like Alexander the Great began to rule and took over the entire Middle Eastern area. The Romans under Cesar came in in A.D. 70 and totally ransacked the country and Jerusalem, tearing down the temple and scattering survivors across the country and into neigboring territories.

Hope that helps

The Jews had no "nationality" until they bought their portion of Palestine with the help of the British. They are the chosen ones according to their religion so that and a really strong family and community sense have kept them going through eons of harassment and decimation.

I think a couple of the "lost tribes" are still missing. They can find some of the "tribes" in DNA from modern day Jews.

Only two tribes remain the tribe of Judah and the tribe of Benjamin became the Jews. The other ten tribes were lost and became mixed with others races of the world. xx

The Jews are God's chosen and He knows where the 12 tribes are.

Well, first of all religion is more than land. It shault not be destroyed bby earthquakes, volacanos, or tsunami's. It cannot be plundered, stolen, or burnt. Religion could only be lost, by extinction. Adolf Hitler tried it, but failed. The Romans tried it, but failed. The KKK tried it, but failed. Religion is powerful, cultural, and as long as followers remain, the destruction of any material items, shault not leave religion in the dust.
