God prohibited eating of the tree of knowledge. God said, eat from it and you will surely die. Why? Is ignorant good and righteous? When Satan talked to Eve, the serpent told her she would be as God and know right from wrong. She ate, Adam ate and what was the first thing that they recognized was evil? They were naked! What kind of stupid crap is this? Naked! How does naked become evil? How does naked become wrong?
This just seems so stupid.

That question cancels itself out. If eternal salvation exists, then those who receive it will have been correct in their beliefs, and therefore certainly not "ignorant." But if it doesn't exist, then naturally those who believed in it were ignorant, but your question presents the assumption that eternal salvation does in fact exist, so the correct answer would be No. If people believe in something that is right, they cannot be ignorant. Your inquiry is pointless, and frankly I think you're just trying to shove your agenda down people's throats.
