Because blacks can be jews, and where he came from, in the middle east or whatever it's called, so you're going to assume his skin is darker, but when you get down to it, does it matter??

I think people fight over Jesus being white or black, because they want to see it there way. Yes Jesus was a Jew, which obousiouly says he was more of a brown skin than anything else. What people are fighting over is technically raciest. The black may want to think he was black, and maybe some of us white want to think he was white. But I don't think skin color is really a debatable point. The point is Jesus died for our sins, its like the song says "Red, or yellow, black and white, they are precious in his sight." Maybe the song is a little kids song, but its lyrics are right. Color isn't the point, the point is, God is God. If the people want to debate his skin color, be my guest, but I doubt it would be what Jesus was doing.

Everyone is desperate to claim the truth as their own. That's why all religions fight over which is right. We all want to be the winner. Plus, a good majority of christians have never read their bibles and don't realize Jesus was a Jew, or, if they do, they want to ignore the fact because they like to think christianity is something wholly seperate from Judaism.

A race is simply one of the partially isolated gene pools into which the human species came to be divided during and following its early geographical spread. All men living today belong to a single species, Homosapiens, and are derived from a common stock.

"There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor freeman, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one person in union with Christ Jesus." - Gal. 3:28.

Jewish is not a group of people with similar physical traits - a race, but a group of people with similar religious beliefs - a religion. "Jew" does not indicate anything about one's physicality. At the time, especially, all the people looked the same. Jesus was Arabic. This indicates he was of darker skin tone, but not like Africans.

some people aren't blessed with a fully functioning brain, can't count to 20 with their shoes on, can't see the obvious. I guess they can't comprehend what a jew looks like, or after their extensive reading of the bible, it never dawned on him he was a jew and probably looks like one. I mean I see tons of black people born from jews all the time.

I guess that is a good way to avoid the question by just saying he was a jew. Every knows this (jew) already, what does this have to do with his hue?

Every one wants to be apart of something, and siding up gives us some sense of mis guided power. They haven't been touched by the Holy Spirit, blinders are still on their eyes and they most likely haven't opened the good Book.

I guess they're just fighting over what shade of Jew he was.

Lack of knowledge.

Jesus was in fact a Jew. Dark hair, dark eyes...and olive skinned. Maybe even dark olive skin.

Who cares about His skin color, He came to save the world!
