are you, like me, getting annoyed with the christian questions?

2006-12-12 16:11:15 · 28 answers · asked by Sarah S 3 in Society & Culture Religion & Spirituality

It's not just julia's questions but why can't everyone accept hat there are different faiths, some people have mixed beliefs, why do people feel they have to be so judgemental, for example not all christians are thick and smell, not all muslims turn into terrorism, get my point.
Any one from any race or religion can smell, or be thick or whatever.

Yes I am and I am Jewish but just because I am not Christian I can still respect and admire your faith and the wisdom it has given the world as Julia should

LOL Pagan Rebirth! s for me, I am a Christian, Church of England, Arch Bishop of Canterbury, etc. The difference I think is what I have heard as the sweet, gentle reason (rationality) of Anglicanism.
It is my belief that everyone has the right to their own beliefs, their own ways of looking at things, and their own way of celebrating this time of year. To each his or her own!
As my mum would say:
It we all believed the same way, dressed the same way, and all drove the same cars, it would be a terribly boring world.
Charles "That Cheeky Lad"
A Happy Christmas to all who celebrate it, and a happy, prosperous, peaceful holiday season and New Year to all! <-----That is the sum total of how I look a things.

If you and Julia are annoyed with Christian questions, you could move to one of the other categories.

She's a troll. The original Julia came here long ago but, as far as I know, hasn't been seen in a long time. I have no idea who the fakes are.

I find a lot of what you call "Christian questions" to be very hypocritical. Those asking them seem to be intensely frustrated bigots who can't say, "You know how those blacks are," because that's racist. Or, "You know how those Italians are," because that's xenophobic. Or, "You know how those queers are," because that's homophopic. Or, "You know how those Muslims are," because that's culturally insensitive. Or, "You know how those Jews are," because that's anti-semitic.

They obviously can't remember blond jokes since they're not taking it out on the blonds. So there's no reason to expect that they have the mental capacity to figure out that it's bigotry they should be giving up. And then they take it out on Christians.

Which is, I suppose, better than taking it out on cripples and retards.

haven't seen julia in a while. she's really hostile though, calling all those names. i still believe that peaceful debate is the best way to settle arguements. and even if in the end we can't reach consensus, we can still agree to disagree and move on. Life isn't all about arguing about religion. Religion won't pay the rental on your humble flat, or help you feed your ***** cat!

Yes i agree with you, each to their own, Julia is just sad and loney she has no one in her life, so the only way she can get on is by winding up people on this site, take this away fromher and she has nothing,

Like a few others I have no idea who "Julia" is. More to the point I have no idea what your problem is with her is she answering God loves you to every question or is it the opposite, is she saying if you believe in god you must be an idiot. Either way why does it bother you surely under the heading " Religion and Spirituality" you should have some kind of idea what to expect...God loves you... Or maybe he doesn't....There is no God.... Jesus loves you..No he doesn't

I think Julia sees through the hypocrisy of the Christians,Love thy Neighbour as long as he agrees with your point of view.Blessed Are The Weak, but poor/homeless people are just lazy bas*ards,Peace on Earth, but god says it's ok to bomb the Muslim/commie,any-one-anti-West scumbags.Whether you like Julia or not,at least she's honest & not afraid to state her case.Good on ya,girl!

i think she has a problem with her face, since it's so ugly, she became bitter, and that bitterness turned to hate, and that hate has to have something to blame due to the origin of it, which is that julia's ugly face, then that hate has to have an outlet, and christian became its target, for some reason of that twisted julia's mind.

LOL! i didn't know i have too much time in my hands today, haha!
