It is is called a "Memorial" ........

A small card like memorial with a saying on the cover.......usually a notation from a poem like "Footprints" or the like. The Funeral Home designs them. But the family is given a few options as to what it should say..............

The "Funeral Home Guy" has it wrong.............I have buried many friends and relatives and they always ask what we would like to have in the "memorial card" to be given to family and friends?

LMAO, they are NOT called "obituaries". That is what is put in the local paper announcing the person's death!

They are usually called "programs" (Drew's right!). There's also Prayer Cards, Memorial Cards, etc. It depends on the service. I work in the funeral industry.

:)
