Dont bother getting married if you dont live in the states mentioned. Your marraige will be pointless since the other states dont recognize the civil union rights when you come back home after your nuptuals. Either wait a decade or so or leave the states for a scandinavian liberal paradise.

The only state in the U.S. is Massachusetts, but you have to be a resident. Canada does not have the same residency requirement. Gay marriage is also legal in The U.K and Spain.
