And the number of completion in the Bible (like everything in REV) is the number 7.

Seems like He is saying something. Like its only half over and He will be back.

This is how He speaks, like the mystery of parables. Cool, huh?

Blessings,
David

YOur right about 7 meaning complete. I also believe that Jesus has more work to do, but his ministry is over and He is the Messianic King. He gave his followers the commision to preach at the end of Matthew. As far as the 3 and a half years, this was prophesied in the book of Daniel at 9; 27 where it's called half a week.

The number for Jesus Christ in the Greek is 888. The Lord, The Lord Jesus, and other references to Christ in the Greek are factors of 8.
As you probably know both the Greek and the Hebrew alphabets are also used for the numbering systems of the languages.

Read the Gospel of the Nazirenes Restored with Historical Documentation by Alan Wauters and Rick Van WyheThe original Bible before King Constantine took out most of what Christ taught. Christians need to know the truth and read what Christ actually. go to thegospelofthenazirenes.

Good Lord (pun intended), you biblical literalists never cease to amaze me with how gullible you are, and how you continually deperateyl grasp for meaning where there is none. Three point five years? Please. How could anyone ever even pretend to be able to pinpoint the length of his ministry that closely; especially when the writings of the earliest gospel writer, Mark, occured some 20 years after his death. John's occurred about 80 years after. The four gospels were also merely four chosen by church leaders hundreds of years AFTER Jesus' death out of hundreds of other writings. The church father simply chose the ones that best fit their agenda of control.
Further, nowhere in the bible does it mention your so-called magic number of 3.5 years. You are simply extropolating that number from the general guess by scholars that his ministry lasted about three years.
BTW: why no written records of jesus from birth until he was 30 years-old, save for his preaching in the synagogue one afternoon? Hmm..maybe because Jesus was only known as a teacher (they called him "rabbi") as an adult and the whole Christ thing and virgin birth scenario were cooked up after his death? Hmm......

David, I thought the 3.5 years had to do with the time 1/2 through the tribulation when things get really tough. I did not see the connection until now. thanks

There are a LOT of interesting things. Here is another: The name of the prisoner who was let go so CHrist could be punished instead was Barabbas. "Bar" means "son of" and "abbas" means father. Therefore, the son of the father (small case) was set free, and the Son of the Father (upper case) was crucified in his place.

Did you notice that God is in 3 persons. There are 3 states solid liquid gas? MY m.a. teacher told me that one he has a doctors in theology. I know lots of these # things. To be honest that to me sound all like silly superstition. If God had 4 person we would talk about 4 directions. If it was 2 Jesus and god. We would talk about opposites. That crazy Iranian president beliefs in a lot of that weird numerology stuff and he isnt even sane.

The tribulation period will last 7 years, but if you're saying we're halfway through it, I strongly disagree!
