Does "quickly" have the same meaning as "hurry up" ?

May I say," It is time for lunch. Let's go. Quickly" ?
P.S. I have heard lots of people (not native speakders) saying this...
They use quickly instead of hurry up.....

If possible,plz offer some example.

The Gospel of Matthew presents a husband who finds his wife pregnant before they come together and he thinks of having her stoned to death for adultery, privately.

Luke presents a wife who was forewarned of her having to be "come upon" and "overshadowed" for "that holy thing which shall be born".

Why cant Christians examine what they claim to believe when they read the books and refuse to see whats in the books?

I went through a very hard time that severly tested my faith and I ththought God did not care anymore. I stuggle like everyone else and things are not always easy or fair, but I feel I dont have that exuberance or enthiusam for the Lord anymore like I did when I was newly freshly saved. I was in the city today with family and I did not even miss going to church. And I am really not at all that thrilled with my church and I feel like I am the lone ranger in that church when it comes to encouragement.

My question is how do I get the Lord to be my "first love" again, I do I get that fire and that zeal back again that I lost through tough times. I am a deacons wife How do I become passionate for the Lord again. I know I have to go on from what happened in the past but I was very hurt and wounded, I want to go forward in my walk with the Lord. Have you every gone through these feelings?

I want to get my boss something, but not my assistant boss...is that wrong? WE just don't get along.

i am straight, but i dont have a problem with homosexuality. I have been brought up catholic but i have strayed from that because among many issues i have with church teachings, i have a problem with the persecution of gays and lesbians because although the bible may mention the unholiness of these relationships, it says much more prominently not to judge.

but nobody ever see's ghosts of ancient Egyptians or ancient Greeks or ancient Celts or Vikings or Indians running around????

Now I believe in spirits but this makes me question.

Why ONLY 100 yr old ghosts.

my in laws have a pretty big dog and every time i go over there i can't breath so i only stay for like an hour or so.. mind you i am so allergic to cats and dogs and i also have asthma... when i leave their home its like i have a death of a cold and i'm up for atleast two nights wheezing and not being able to breath. my QUESTION is: how can i ask them to put the dog in another room nicely? they did it once for me but that lasted for like 15 minutes.. i would think out of respect for me since i am allergic and have asthma they would put the dog away until i lest the home. i dont go over there much at all because of this. but christmas is coming soon and my husband wants us to go there. i am geeting nervious about going because i know its going to be so bad for me.. its scarey not being about to breathe.. what should i do not go?

Yesterday, I was doing my homework when I saw an image in my mind of my son tripping over a rock in the front yard. 10 seconds later, he was on the ground crying and told me he tripped on a rock. I didn't mention anything to him, just cleaned up his scraped knee and went back to work. Today, a weird picture of a burning cabinet came into my mind!! About 5 minutes later, I smelled smoke and went into the kitchen to find that the microwave had lit on fire (my son put foil in there!!!!!!!!!) and being below the cabinet, it had caught fire as well!!!!!! And a couple of hours ago, I had a strange image of a brown abyss pop up into my brain. IMmediately after, an eruption happened in my pants, I had a bad diarrhea attack (sorry if that grosses you out, guys, but it's true!)

Please no 'this is a load of crud' I want serious explanations. What is going on? These types of things have never happened to me before!
