I'm single, and don't have anyone to spend Xmas with. My family is thousands of miles away, and all my friends already have plans. I'm either going to buffet it, or just sit at home. Any suggestions??

Make it a movie night and just spend some quiet time at home. Reflect on things and just try to enjoy your time. It's not always easy to spend the holidays alone, especially when there are people you want to be with. Give your relatives a call though, and tell them you wish you were with them.

Mooch onto one of your friends and make them invite you to one of their family gatherings! They could at least do that much if they know you're going to be sitting around alone. Or, if you really aren't big into the holiday gathering thing, go out and see a movie or something, hang at home, or call the family.

You mean none of your friends has invited you to spend even part of the day with them, I am so sorry to hear that. Have you checked to see if there are any organizations serving Christmas dinner that you could volunteer to help with? Then you can treat yourself to a nice meal and a good movie.

Merry Christmas to you, too.

It'll be a normal day for me, except I won't be working. (So I guess it'll be like a normal Sunday.)
