Why do people always tend to bash Christianity?

Hello! It's exactly what Hitler did in 1935 Germany. Condemn a people group to justify bigotry, hatred and murder. It's coming. Need proof? Just look at some of the answers below. They think because of the evil acts of some in the Roman Catholic church, they are justified in hating anyone who believes in Jesus Christ.

1. they have found their own path to god and therefore do not see your advice or preaching as helpful

2.people are tired of being blackmailed with all this heaven and hell crap - lets be serious god can't be that materialistic and base.

3. to some ignorance is bliss(not that this is a good thing)

4.you hardly ever back up your statements with proof

but these don't just apply to christianity all organised religion is guility of these crimes and only works to hold back the evolution of our mind and spirit

It isnt all about christianity...every religion is bashed for its beliefs. Even atheists and agnostics cop the hard end of the stick. It is a lack of understanding on everyones part.

People have to stop acting like victims and just have faith in what they believe in. Who cares at the end of the day what other people think? They arent going to lose sleep over your opinion. Only you will if you let it bother you.

bashing something comes from not understanding something i'm no christain i'm a pagan and i do not bash your religon i've read your bible and it has many good things in it . i understand it is impossible for everyone to belief the same. it doesn't matter to me that your christain, or athiest ,or pagan the fact that we are all human and all belief differantly is good to me. it would be rather boring if we was all the same.

Cause Christians bash them with spiritual terrorism and eternal damnation worship. Most Christians think somebody has to go to some permanent terrible place for not knowing that Jesus is "God" or special in some sense as "Son of God", or sinless. Sin is difference from God's will and since God is everywhere and there are differences everywhere, some of them graver than others, no being can be sinless! For without uniqueness there can be no witness. God is everywhere and hence there can be no damnation or separation from God!

I don't know. I'm a Muslim and I feel sick when I see Christians, Jews, Wiccans, Pagans, Hindus, Buddhists and Muslims being bashed out of somebody's personal fears and ignorance!

Many people like to think that they or their culture is better, but fail to recognize that since there are many Christian, or in my case Catholics that there will be many evil things commited by them. I know this, because I know mankind. Men do evil things, even Christians.
