I'm out in the country & only have dial up so I didn't want to wait 20 minutes for this to load up. But I didn't need to. Benny Hin and many other "televangelists" are an embarrassment to many Christians. Many want to give them the benifit of the doubt and I suspect only a few actually like Benny Hinn & his like. But there are apparently enough blind followers of Hinn to keep him rolling in the dough.

My father was a preacher all his life. He was a good man & was nothing like these charlitons. Our income never rose above middle class & when he was making the most money, he was giving much of it to the poor in the area.

DO NOT JUDGE ALL CHRISTIANS BASED ON BENNY HINN & HIS TYPE!!!

I'm not embarrassed by this guy. If you subscribe to his or this type of foolishness then I can see it being embarrassing, but only a fool believes in that type of thing. Now I do believe that there are people that can or have healed ( Jesus for one ) but they don't need TV or an audience it is a God given gift, and like any God given gift it's a private thing and not a means to make money but for it's intended purpose and that is to do good.

I'm a Christian, but I'm wary of Benny Hinn. Am I embarrassed by him, no. People who judge all Christians by the actions of one are small minded and prejudiced. Are you embarrassed by some of the posts on here from atheists who are clearly attacking and harassing Christians? Or do you assume most intelligent people know that athiests are individuals?

I am a Christian and No, he doesn't embarrass me. In fact, I find myself feeling sort of sorry for him and many others like him, both christian and non christian. But, while the theatrics may be appalling at times, there is the nudge that comes from within that reminds me,,,,,there are many people that are brought closer to God during these services. So my thoughts are that it must be true, God really does move in mysterious ways.
