I'm working on my book and my character is haunted by a reoccuring dream. I thought it would be cool if I had my character go to someone to find out if the dream has meaning and if so.... what it might mean. In reality, I'd like to run "the dream" past someone to find out what it'd mean. Since I do most of my research on the computer, is there a place on the web?

If god really does exist, and is all powerful, why does he let bad things happen
to name but a few
children being abused by a peodophile,
death to good people
starvation in africa (he alledgelly made some bread and summit else feed loadsa people in some story) why not do that again?
just generally let bad things happen to good people?

dont bother saying twaddle like god doesn't make or stop people from being bad - he is meant to be ALL POWERFUL

y is it that we follow the doctor's prescriptions, but not God's? Is it because we simply don't trust god to heal us or wat? because I know that I don't always listen to wat God tells me to do, but I listen and do wat the doctor says, and follow his prescription. Wat do u think?

I know the first two are Lao Tzu and Confucius, but who is the third one?
Also, what are the traditional characteristics of the sages (Icons, images, etc...)
Any other information about the three sages you feel like volunteering would also be much appreciated.
Thank you.

Everybody say that God is one. and HE is remembered by so many names.HE is formless and is light or a point of divine light.HE is soul but does not come in the cycle of births and deaths like other souls.HE is source (ocean)of all virtues HE is the BEST (Supreme soul) Other souls may be good or better and those are also formless souls but they take births and bodies.and ultimately die.HIS names are SHIVA (formless),ALLAH, GOD, JEHOVA etc. Please share some other beautiful names !

Most everyone from other countries or Americans who lived in other countries all claim that USA is the most racist. And aren't we the only country that allows organized hate groups such as KKK, Neo-Natzies and others like Rednecks?? And yet we punish the ones such as celebrities who speak up their opinions against other race or sexuality?? Isn't that a hypocrisy?

To make a long story short. My husband and I are realtors and are struggling in this slow market. My friend asked me to send her home listings in her area because her and her husband were considering buying a home. She really liked the ones I sent her and she asked me to keep an eye on her neighborhood for new listings as they come up.
This morning I checked my email and I recieved a blanket letter to all of her friends stating that she and her husband bought a home yesterday afternoon.
I feel betrayed. They knew we've been struggling with money this year, we even had to cancel some trips we had planned with them because we couldn't afford it. Also, I have reason to believe that they may have purchased a home that I sent them the info for. They said they went to an open house and just purchased through the listing agent that was there and that they never thought to call us.
Shouldn't they have told me first? How do I tell them how upset I am over this?

Aren't we projecting a very limited and narrow perspective of our deity by making them into petty and easily-offended beings that are exact replicas of our sensitive and shaky self esteems? When those who have had a direct experience of spirituality, they don't get offended by any perceived misuse of the deity. Can we learn from them? Or do we think that it best serves our needs to treat our deities as small, petty projections of our own thought system?
