There is no country that is wholly Protestant. However, the first country to be seriously affected by Protestantism was Germany.

I would agree to Paul Cyp, there is no country that was wholly Protestant.
Germany is a good guess, maybe also Switzerland.
There was Zwingli and Calvin (in Geneva)

However, it is also interesting to see that many conflicts between brethren in God (!!!) were and are led in the name of the one Christian God.
Think of Ireland. Think of France and the Huguenots (which is actually a perverted form of ‘Eidgenoss’ (denomination of Swiss Confederates).
Think of many other places with similar problems.
So: if there were one country to become wholly Protestant: at what price?

Has one? I know that England's attempts led to civil war and bloodshed pretty much since Henry VIII had women troubles. And look at the Irish troubles.
