if Mary would have said NO to bear Jesus and admit that Jesus was NOT Joseph's child. In other words Mary might have committed adultery ?

In those days for an unwed woman to be found pregnant with the father not being the man she was engaged to, the penalty would be either her death or being sent to another town to live in disgrace. Mary had a free will. She could have said no and not become pregnant. She knew the rules and questioned the angel when she said, "How can this be? "I know not man. " Mary's fiat, her yes was a great sign of her faith in God. Joseph also had great faith when told about the pregnancy. He also trusted the angel and accepted the child and raised him as his own.

If Mary had said no, there would have been no child. Only married people can commit adultery. Mary was not married at the time of her conception.

well because she said she would not bear jesus then how could she commit adultery?
